Hive with the newest Beta patch the flags on AoI are all messed up for me

Yeah I know, they changed the palette. I have fixed it for the next release, which will also include an ACW scenario.

k is there any way you can just put the new flags up for download? I dont play regular EU2 only AoI and i cant tell whose flags are who or if rebels control my province

I guess I could do that tomorrow.

Have you encountered any bugs/crashes with the latest version btw?

Thanks a lot, and no I havent crashed once since playing AoI 1.0 I use the latest Eu2 beta and everything is working great.

Thanks for the fix :)

Np, it didn't take long to make - just a little palette alteration.

Well it's good news that you haven't crashed. If it's not too much trouble, could you tell me approx how many games you have played with 1.0 - and what scenarios?

I'm trying to find and narrow down the mysterious crash bug Oda Nobugawa reported...

I dont play a lot of EU2 sorry but I have played 3 GC's with Venice, Austria, and Brandenburg and everything worked fine for me ill try out some other scenarios to see if I encounter any problems

:EDIT:

Hmmm there still seems to be a problem with some of the flags for me, here is a screenshot of the us flag..

Also I was wondering why in the scenarios after 1700 for UK it still says England? Is this not able to be changed?

Thanks

3 full GCs without any crashes... maybe it's the 1773 scenario that's bugged... hmm...

Yeah the fix doesn't work properly, as I haven't copied all flags to the AoI folder. I forgot that. Only the flags and shields that are different from the original EU2 flags have been changed, which means that some flags you see in AoI are the new ones from the latest beta patch - while others are from AoI. And since they use a different palette, you get this screw-up... I'll try to get a new version up in a week's time. In the meantime, you can correct it not using the graphics from the latest beta patch - but from an older version instead.

alright ill do that but is there a reason why the uk is still called england in scenarios after 1700?

Because I would have to use another nation tag if I want to change the name.

I guess I could do that, if it's a big problem generally...

would it be real hard? Im just picky :p

Nah, not that hard. I just need to switch some monarch and events, and of course create a new nation called either United Kingdom (my prefered choice) or Great Britain. And some event text as well.

But I have been vary to do so because I didn't want to waste a perfectly good tag on it, but oh well... it has kinda annoyed me a bit too... and I do have a tag for Austria-Hungary, so maybe I should for UK too... I will definately consider it.

Hmm... I didn't realize how much work it would be to add a United Kingdom nation... I need to change tons of events for many countries, all scenarios after 1700 and more... oh well, might as well go through with it now...

that sucks, if you dont want to do all of that isnt there a simple event you can make to change Englands flag to the uk flag in 1700? So even if the name dosnt change the flag will?

Eh... there already is such an event in regular EU2...

But I have started the major chance now, so I might as well complete it. England will, with the Act of Union event, change to United Kingdom.
