Do you guys ever visit the forum in your leizure time? I mean off the clock for pure enjoyment.

Sometimes it is hard to draw the line between work time and leizure time. If I am working overtime, not because I am asked to do so, but for the fun of it, I am helping the company (working) but also doing it for my own sake.

I do like how he now supposedly is "Marching to The Mothland"

Or maybe I don't like it.

Moths = Bugs, not somewhere I'd want a programmer marching to? :p

Luckily for you neither Darkrenown or I are entrusted with programming (even though I occasionally fiddle with the code - but don't tell anyone...)

Who is responsible for paradoxplaza website ?

The publishing team handles all the websites, and we work with some external agencies as well. The Paradoxplaza redesign was handled by tomsoderlund, currently on paternity leave. Andrew_C, based in the US office, has taken over most of the paradoxplaza.com website updates as well as all the campaign websites. News, product pages and information are handled by Regina.

Kind regards

Which game surprised you the most in terms of sales?

Victoria II didn't really surprise us as most (with the exception of Fred) thought it would do well, with Magicka we knew it had something very special but it has exceeded our expections in terms of sales for sure. In addition to our internally developed titles, the Mount & Blade franschise and the first installment of King Arthur have done really well, both sales wise and reception with gamers/critics.

Kind regards

To each staff member individually, what has been your favourite project you have worked on?

Rome is still one of my favorites.

Anyway this makes me ask, are there plans or ideas to add in multi-core support on your other Clauswitz Engine games as well? (Vicky 2 and EU3 most notably). I can't really understate enough how much better the game runs for me, and I'm only on a somewhat dated dual-core processor. Anyway, just wanted to say I love the newest expansion on HOI3, and I've spent more time than I can calculate on EU3, so thanks for the great games :D

For the Victoria 2 expansion I'll probably spend some time optimizing it with multithreadding :)

I wonder if he'd enjoy his games so much if you removed every file you're responsible for. :p

I'm not that into moths so if Darkrenown would remove all the bugs he added to the games, I'd be fine.

now that i know who you guys cook in sweden may i ask how you code your games?

The way he loaded the toaster looks very similar to how I handle the keyboard when writing events.

Since Gars is currently on holiday there's no one to notice what I add to the Sengoku event files. Godzilla and ninjas based on Naruto ahoy!

I'll be honest, it's a good thing that game was never made. Not Pdox's finest moment. :p

For the Mothland was by far the greatest game never made. I mourn its loss daily.

Question for the HOI2 graphics person, re Counters and how they are originated?

Please see my thread in the DH forum for background: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?549139-Counter-mods-for-DH

I'm trying to make the flag on the hoi2 counter bigger, problems are these:
Changing the counter-prototype flag area only succeeds in turning the whole in-game counter blue, and doesn't enlarge the flag
Enlarging the flag area on the hoi-strip (only infantry done so far) does enlarge the flag, but pixels are stretched and graphic quality suffers badly, especially for complicated flags like the UK.

I think I researched all areas of changes to the hoi-strip.
I've changed a few things on the counter-prototype counter.. but have not got back what I expected.

Can the original hoi2 graphics person please help with advice?
Do you have any data/help as in "how to" originate hoi2 counters.Anything I can read ...?
What role does the counter-prototype play in the formation of the counter?

.. any help at all would be much appreciated. Thanks

Not possible, as there is only 256 colors possible for the entire counter, which limits the size of the flag there.

Yes! but currently talented french studio Cyanide has the rights to make games on the series.

We've got something....game of throny brewing in Project Postman.

For any of the Paradox team, what is your favorite non PC game?

Do you mean board games or console games? My favourite boardgames are Talisman and Munchkin and for console games I must say the Assassin's Creed "trilogy", even though the first game was rather mediocre. I like Angry Birds and Sword and Sworcery on iPod/iPhone.

What is developer's favourite upcoming title: Sengoku or Crusader Kings II ?

(I'm hoping to forge an inter-dev-team rivalry

I have been/am working on both games and I must say CK2, mostly because I have done more work for it and it feels more like "my" project than Sengoku. Both are great games though.
