For any of the Paradox team, what is your favorite non PC game?

Resident Evil V, big time! That is the most fun I've had with a co-op game, it's fantastic.
As for boardgames, since SolSara brought it up, I have two favourites: RoboRally and Betrayal at House on the Hill. Everyone needs to play RoboRally.

What is developer's favourite upcoming title: Sengoku or Crusader Kings II ?

(I'm hoping to forge an inter-dev-team rivalry

Oh, I have not played CKII yet, so I'll have to say Sengoku. They are both a bit different for me, since I've never played the old CK, so it will be interesting to indulge more in these two.

CK2! I spend all Wednesday play- uh, testing it. Disloyal duke eh? *Assassinate* Muhahaha!

I hear Podcat's favorite is Sengoku though. He plays such long and interesting games :D

I'm going to fill in the blanks here. Darkrenown obliterated Podcat about five minutes into the first multiplayer session with Sengoku.
It is now more obvious when someone declares war on you...

Well.. podcat has a proud tradition of losing in multiplayer games...

Hi, you really want to be in our Modding forums for these games, also external links are not allowed (although the one you gave does not work). thanks for understanding.

Is there a specific place to post errors on the site? Examples: Spelling mistakes, inconsistencies between release dates on the Press Page and the Game Page, etc.
And technically, the first page on this post is wrong. Now, you can answer "When is CK2 coming?" as it has a release date. :p

A sub forum to this forum is called Forum Help both Myself(Forum Manager) and Kallocain(Community Manager) frequent that forum So you could post there for forum stuff. Web Page stuff should go to the Webmaster.

Does Paradox playtest patches and expansions? Because it doesnt looks like it - many people (myself included) reported that in "HoI3 For the Motherland" CVs and BBs are now almost impossible to sink - I run 10 hands off games (using 3.04 patch) (as Cuba) which I let run untill 1945 and I NEVER saw more than 10 capital ships as sunk.

Issues you have with specific games should be taken to the Tech/Bug forums for those games, I know it can be frustrating waiting for changes and fixes, I feel the same way with other games, But please realize these things do take time, and need to be tested so a fix for one thing does not break 10 others.

Are all people who get paid by Paradox Interactive (devs and other people who work there) Swedish or do you have people from other countries too?

We have Americans, Polish people, Norwegians, Scottish people and many more. Can't remember where everyone hails from but these are the ones I'm sure about.

ok, fuck this - I'm giving Google+ a go since "I'm not active there".

Also the Arrowhead and Colossal Order team are on vacation a few more weeks - hence the lack of posts.

It's more about not feeding me around 11 AM.

So let's get back on track - ask more stuff about Paradox - preferably on the publishing/business side - enough with the internal team - they get enough space as is (you should see our fridge).

Have you ever consciously moddelled your business style on Gordon Gecko, Patrick Bateman or some other similarly 'hard nosed' businessman? Ever smashed a chair across a developer's back for missing a deadline? Ever told anyone they'll never work in Stockholm again?

Hmmm, I just got some new ideas ;)

The closest thing I've gotten to the America Psycho reference is that our business cards would fit in the famous scene from the movie/book where they compare their cards. Ours is white with silver embossing. Fancy!

More seriously, how many projects do you publish as a proportion of the amounts that ask you to publish them?

I would say less than 5%

I think it's even less than 5%.

But it's not a fair assessment since a fair share of the games you'll see coming the next few years aren't games that are "pitched" to us -rather games that we want to make ourselves and just make sure they're done.

Commercial crisis? we're the boy scouts - we're always prepared. If by chance we sell less games, we'll probably not ramp up our growth at the same pace.

Is that management code for "we will fire Captain Gars"?
