PS. The info is from the homepage of Finnish Army, so I would deem it quite reliable. I translated it from Finnish only to realize they had English version of the reports too.. copy-paste is sooo much faster and easier than typing :rolleyes:

in previous version that minister didn't work...
now it should work... but i am not sure...

I added 5 coal and 5 steel to Greenland, and 5 coal and 5 steel to Reyjavik.

That way we can have a "Free Denmark"
 
Those areas historically came under British and then US control. There were critical resources in those areas as well as important transit bases and weather monitoring posts.

Why do you want a "Free Denmark"?

I think you meant 1-2 months ;) Unless these are all one-line desc with no effects you'll be working this for a long time just to get the triggers right. Let us know if you need a hand with anything.

well i have vacation so i plan on making a lot of writing.

Ill probably run into a couple of problems along the way and ill make sure to let you know when it happens :D

Thank you guys, you really are great :D Nice thing that finnish events give more events to loads of other countries too :)

I try to get some more stuff for the Continuation War too.

What I meant by Free Denmark, is that the player can CHOOSE to survive outside of the Germans if he so wants to.

The only way i can see this happening is by allowing the danish government to set up on iceland and be a puppet on US. but since the ai doesnt use military access very well it will probably just ruin it for US planes in England.

Minor setback

:( I had a minor setback yesterday on my finnish events. My computer has broken down so i wont be writing anything until tonight when i borrow one from a friend.

I still think i can make it in 2 weeks though. I already have around 40 events done.(no single line descriptions so far Steel :D )

ill be sending the finished ones to Generalisimo and Steel some time tomorrow.

One comment on the Finnish events: It should be noted that most of the foreign voluntaries never got to the front. They were inadequately equipped, couldn't take the harsh weather and - most importantly - didn't have any common language with the Finnish officers. I seem to remember only some of the Swedes took part in the actual fighting. IMO the foreign voluntaries were more a political than a military help. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong here.

Other than that I'm quite pleased to get so many events for my home country. There were quite a few in that list I had never heard of before. Good work!

One suggestion for alternative history: If Finland would have gotten close to collapsing, Sweden might have claimed the Åland islands (IF they are still in Finnish control). The whole population on these islands were Swedish speaking people, after all.

About the demands of Fascist Sweden: I'd think a fascist Sweden wouldn't have demanded the whole of Finland, but it probably would have had demands on Åland Islands (Mariehamn) and Pohjanmaa (Vaasa). Those provinces had a lot of Swedish speaking Finns in them. A bit like the Sudeten area for Germany.

In the events im writing there will only be very little MP gain from foreign volunteers.

Hi again

I finnished another 48 events over the weekend an i will send them shortly to both Steel and Generalisimo.

btw. ive written 83 events over the last week and have about 70 to go before the chain is finish and still a week to work if i want to keep my own deadline of 2 weeks. Time to place your bets ladies. :D
