I have a theory on this; delete all the trade routes ie. delete the contents of CK2Plus\common\trade_routes and see if that makes a difference

It didn't help to say the least, we got desynced, not after 2 dayes like usuall, but instantly after game start (without having even unpaused), also this happened:

Ah yeah, I guess just deleting the contents of the folder wouldn't work. So try this instead; empty out each file inside the folder (ie. open each and just blank the contents of the files).

This step did reveal that we should replace_path the trade routes folder at least.

Nope, still didn't fix anything, we got desynced before unpausing. Multiplayer compatibility on etc. Also, this time not even the silk road was there

That's the point of that; as it eliminates the trade routes as a potential for the desync. We have no idea what causes the desync.

I've got an odd problem, the Pope keeps destroying the title d_pentarch_rome, which in earlier starts locks decisions like forming the Carolingian Empire, as d_pentarch_rome has no holder. Even when given the title back with console, he destroys it within a week.

Running CK2 2.8.3.3, Checksum IQXQ (Ck2+, India, CPR, CPR+, Patrum Scuta.

No "unique buildings" mod can be compatible, just because of different province IDs, different cultures, religions etc.

Use newer CK2+, there's no "India" anymore and there's no d_pentarch_rome. It's "k" now.

The issue is causes by vanilla, not us.

Anything else we could disable for testing ?
The problem is, it's not really possible to tell what is causing a desync. You can only test disabling stuff and then see whether it works better.
And in CK2+, there are lots of mechanics with lots of code, including many potential causes for a desync. Duel mechanics were identified a while ago as causing problems, and they were a likely candidate because of the high frequency of events they cause. But it's not really my department so I might not be telling it 100% correctly.

So yeah, you could disable other mechanics, especially those that involve events firing in rapid succession (e.g. duel events) or are vastly different from vanilla (e.g. traderoutes). But frankly I would not know where to start, and if you would really want to invest lots of efforts into finding the culprit. There's really not many ways for us to tell what causes a desync through debugging, so afaik it's just good old trial&error :/

Maybe not a bug per se but: Gotland in 867 doesn't have a shipbuilder, which pretty much makes it impossible to do anything from that start, including put together the 300 prestige needed to build one.

(This is true in vanilla as well, but less of an issue because they can walk across the sea to mainland Sweden.)

It's weird, my oldest son isn't my heir? My middle son is.

Have you given the oldest son a barony or other landed title? That disqualifies them. If not can you select the oldest son from the "Designated Heir" honoraty title menu?

I hadn't and noticed that I could change to him in designated heir, strange that it changed away from him in the irst place.

Thanks

Those things reset/glitch when a child hits 16, if you had a child designated as heir before. Just be wary, that's all.

Edit: If it isn't obvious, the ability to pick your successor is one of the most powerful features of republics. So, pick your genius attractive strong heirs instead of imbeciles with no shenanigans required.

I don't know that this is a bug with certainty, but I've noticed a problem with the coat of arms. All of my coat of arms options for things like Celtic, Hellenic, Roman, Jewish and almost all others are identical to the ones for Catholic. Starting the game says that the installation is valid and I don't have any other mods installed, but I'm pretty sure there should be unique coat of arms available. Any ideas?

Edit: To be clear all of the coat of arms already in game, as far as I can tell, are what they should be. It's the custom ones that aren't showing the options that they ought to when you edit your CoA/dynasty name.

If you pay with prestige when your religious head demands extra incentive to give holy sanction, it causes the religion head to lose 100 prestige. I assume that he is supposed to gain 100 prestige instead.

(I noticed this while playing as the caliph, but I checked and it's indeed scripted that way in CK2Plus_holy_war_events.)

I posted a new thread to describe this BUG:
Monastic Feudal and Chinese Imperialism has no proper Empire Government type.
If playing as them and change law to "Imperial administration law", they become normal feudal Imperial Government type and lose their own bouns.
As one like to play in east part of the map I feel that is not good.

Known, fixed for next version (BETA)
They won't get a different government, but they do get a different set of advantages.
