How can I see the version of my games? Also, if I play with a previous file, and I save game, the game would be now a 1.3? Do I have to convert without playing more with that file? This game (the one that I posted about) is going to be able to be converted? To convert this file I have to use a previous version of the converter?
Thanks in advance.
Seeing the version: It should be in the launcher, below the play button
Playing: You can revert your version by using the beta section of Steam, PDX keeps their old versions up for those who wish to play on them
Conversion: The problem is that your game was originally played in version 1.2. The game then updated to 1.3 and you played/saved over the same game. For the game itself that's fine, but it breaks the converter since there is broken data within the save.

You started in 1.2 and imported your save into 1.3.
This corrupted your game and you won't be able to convert that save into eu4.

Hi, it's me again. In the converter, there are options such as Which Empire should split and conserve EU4 HRE mechanics or just split. My problem is that you can choose which country to split manually. I have to go to "i_am_here.txt" but I don't find this file. Can you tell me where is it and how can I find it? Thanks.

It's in the configurables folder of the converter.

When converting my save, I keep getting the error that "county has a culture which has no definition," how do I fix that?
Upload your log.txt.

havemercy74, the issue is you are using a game that was originally started in 1.2 but then changed to 1.3. A save that spent the entire time in 1.3 is required to use the current version of the converter.

Hey guys, EU4 keeps crashing, the log is full of thes two lines:

[triggerimplementation.cpp:6466]: Script error! Script Object Token: "culture", Error: Trigger condition set on the wrong scope: Scope.GetProvince()

[triggerimplementation.cpp:19368]: Script error! Script Object Token: "tag", Error: Trigger condition set on the wrong scope: Scope.GetCountryTag().IsValid()

Known issue with the Leviathan patch. You'll need to roll EU4 back or wait for the converter to be updated.

Tried to update to the most recent versions of EUIV and CK3 new error what is the diagnosis
Diagnosis is simple, you're feeding the converter designed to work with specific game versions inputs from completely different game versions. Your CK3 save is started in 1.2 and corrupted, and you're exporting to 1.31 which we don't even support.

Thanks for the breakdown. Ill make a new game and convert on up, and hopefully we got a new version of the converter once i get through imperator and CK3 again. Cheers and thanks for your work.

The new version of CK3toEU4 is ready for release btw but it's pointless as EU4 is unplayable right now.

After converting, I noticed that byzantium never split into vassals for some reason, while other smaller countries did. It struck me as odd, so I'm reporting it here I guess.
I've also noticed that hre splitting when holding multiple empires is a bit weird.

Could you elaborate on:
1) Why is it supposed to split
2) What vassals did you expect to see
3) If you're trying to shatter it into HRE, then also share the contents of your i_am_hre.txt (since you have that selected instead of option 2).
