CK3 to EU4 Converter Release Thread

Is there any way to make it so that cadet branches in CK3 all go back under one dynasty when converted to eu4? I've spread my dynasty pretty far and wanted to see what it would look like in eu4

Unfortunately we do not currently have that functionality. You could
a) Edit the CK3 Save File before conversion, changing cadet rulers to your dynasty, OR
b) Edit the created mod, changing the dynasty of all rulers/heirs of the countries ruled by your dynasty

Hello. I need help.
Whenever I try to convert my save I get an error "Character 171316 has capital 0 which has no definition!". What should I do?

I suspect that one of the mods has affected the map. This throws the converter off as it cannot find a match since the new province has no mapping.

Alternately, it's even possible to create an event which replaces rulers of his cadet branches with ones of his own dynasty.

Theoretically you could do massive save game edits, but realistically no.

That version of converter is quite old, redownload it from first post of this thread and retry.

If it still doean't work, upload again log.txt, and zip and upload the Converted-N mod you used.

So, the amount of errors in your conversion is alarming, you likely used some mod that altered cultures and is vastly incompatible with the converter. However this is beside the point.

Is the mod copied to your mods folder? Go there and see for yourself. If you see it there (Samrat_Prithivarman_of_Mantavarentin_Yen_1435_02_22.mod + Samrat_Prithivarman_of_Mantavarentin_Yen_1435_02_22 folder) that should be visible in your mods list. If it's not, the fronted failend to copy it.

In that case you can go to your converter's CK3ToEU4/output folder and move the file+folder manually.

That's not your mod folder. EU4 mod folder is in c:\users\<yourname>\documents\PDX\EU4\mod
You exported the mod to the wrong place. Move the files over.

bruhhhh idek what happening its like 2 am and im not bout to form coherent sentences. so like i have ck3 on xbox game pass and when i go to convert the ck3 file, i get the error i attached. I cant find an exe if thats what the converter is looking for. pls help i beseech you

1. Converters do not work with Gamepass.
2. You gave it wrong CK3 path.

how does it not work with gamepass? I am using the gamepass version and I can convert my games

Ah damn, of course. Is it possible for someone in this thread to do the conversion for me? Here is my save game. If possible, I'd like to set HRE mechs to the North Sea Empire. Thanks.

I'd love to see log.txt of such a conversion please. Maybe they changed something making it possible now.
