We already have a NED_ideas redefinition in ZZZ_extra_ideas.txt. That one will overwrite your addition, so change it there. It it doesn't stick, try moving the redefinition into one of the files starting with ! as those load first.Hi, I just used the converter for the first time, very greatfull it exists! I just can't figure out how to change my national ideas.. I merged the Dutch Culture with Welsh and ended up with British Ducal ideas in EU4. I tried fixing it myself by adding a "00_country_ideas" folder to the ideas folder of the converter mod. In which I added the following at the top:
NED_ideas = {
trigger = {
OR = {
tag = Z01
tag = NED
}
}
}
Z01 being my tag in game. Anyone know what I'm doing or where the British Ducal ideas are stores? Thanks in advance.

So I managed to get the converter and mod to properly work and it said it was all good and fine but what happened is all these nations and basically 50% of all new nations in Europe Africa and Asia are named with numbers and weird letters. Is this something other people have experienced because it could be either an issue with the converter as in a bug since it was updated, it could be my save having too many nations for eu4 to handle and create names for or something I did wrong when converting the save file. Please help.
You need to upload log.txt from converter's folder and ck3 save, and I'll take a look. It's possible you used a ck3 localization or localization mod that's unsupported in eu4.View attachment 814918
This also happened when I opened the save file, the nations names were not just letters and numbers still but there was this glitch where the religious symbols showed up across my screen.
Upload log.txt and ck3 save, as well as the resulting mod + eu4 save if this happened later than game start.So I converted my CK3 playthrough over to EU4, and I have no decision to form Prussia as Pomerania. I meet all the requirements so I figured it must be the mod. So I'm kind of at a loss here.
Thanks! Worked like a charmWe already have a NED_ideas redefinition in ZZZ_extra_ideas.txt. That one will overwrite your addition, so change it there. It it doesn't stick, try moving the redefinition into one of the files starting with ! as those load first.
I updated and reconverted and the development in my capital (and in general) is more representative of my CK3 game. Thanks for the update.Thank you. I've pushed an update that fixes the issue. We had an Indian guy chime in and tell us what should convert to what in which regions. If that's incorrect then tell us.Why is Vajrayana in the India region specifically getting converted into Theravada? It's probably not different enough from Tibetan Buddhism/Nangchos, which is what EU IV's Vajrayana represents, to warrant it getting converted into an entirely different school just to avoid confusion between the two. If anything Mahayana would be closer to Vajrayana than Theravada.
Also, what was the reason for Avar converting into Hungarian? I remember it being its own culture in previous converter versions.
