Flags.tmp is a name of the temporary folder where the converter stores flags it's crafting. It's inside the converter folder, you can delete it manually.I'm trying to convert a massive empire from CK3 to EU4 and I'm running into a consistent issue in the converter. At 75%, I get a "remove_all: Access is denied.:"flags.tmp"" error. I have attached the log.txt file.
Turns out that is the case. I've added it to my antivirus exemption list and, hopefully, that'll solve the issue. Thanks!Flags.tmp is a name of the temporary folder where the converter stores flags it's crafting. It's inside the converter folder, you can delete it manually.
If the converter can't delete it (and it created it in the first place) that stinks of an antivirus blocking it from doing work.
I believe the one I linked is the most popular one (and the only english one I could find)When I added support for it it was some nonsteam korean one. Now there are 5 on steam, I have no clue what is what.
I've taken a look at what's what. Asia Extended is completely different what Asia Rebooted, and neither are compatible with base map. Asia Extended adds navigable rivers and changes quite a bit.I believe the one I linked is the most popular one (and the only english one I could find)
That isn't random, you are converting a wrong save. Try loading that save in CK3.Hello guys, I have a problem converting my game in which I managed to unify slavia for the first time, the detail is that when I convert the savegame to EU4 these errors appear and the result is quite random.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong since it's the first time I use the mod. If anyone has a way to fix this I would greatly appreciate it.
Oops, I didn't know that cloud save games were saved separately from local ones. Converting the correct one now does give me a much better result but I still get the same errors. I just updated the log and the saved gameThat isn't random, you are converting a wrong save. Try loading that save in CK3.
As for errors, you imported 1.5 save into 1.5.1.
I already answered about your issue with the errors. Is there anything in particular that's wrong with conversion?Oops, I didn't know that cloud save games were saved separately from local ones. Converting the correct one now does give me a much better result but I still get the same errors. I just updated the log and the saved game
Upload log.txt, ck3 save and screenshots of afflicted nations please.Sup, converted from Ck3 to EU4, and randomly nations are flipping reformed Norse or reformed Slav or whatever. Which event is causing this? As its breaking my immersion for a 1066 game lol
Your CK3 is 1.4.4. Converter requires 1.5.Hi, running into a problem converting my CK3 save into Eu4. Getting the following error:
CK3 version is v1.4.4, converter requires minimum v1.5!
I'm currently running 1.5.1, even rolled back to 1.5 and still got the same error. I've attached the logs. Thanks in advance!
Province history folder holds their culture. Cultures are defined in commons folder and localizations in localisation folder.Hello, I am currently in the process of modding my convert (moving provinces around and such), and I saw player made cultures are in the game when I launch. Still, I can't find them in my files. Any clue where those are findable?
Vassals are creating Italian and other languages. I don't see an issue. If that bothers you, change to whatever you please.Question for hybrid cultures. I'm playing Roman culture and my vassals diverge culture but still kept Latin heritage. I notice in the converter Roman is in roman_group culture group, but latin heritage converts to latin group in eu4. Do I just change the heritage mapping, or is it fine?
It's not e_mesopotamian_empire, but probably some dynamic code. You need to fire up CK3 in debug mode and then use console commands/object viewer to see what it actually is named behind the scenes. If it's the same entity that survived from imperator and not something you formed, you might also have luck browsing through the ImpToCK3 mod and seeing inside what's it's name. Good place to start would be localization folder.I've been trying to find a solution to this for a while and would like some help, during my conversion from Imperator to CK3 to EU4 a large empire called the Mesopotamian Empire has stayed and I'm worried they will be too powerful in EU4 to enjoy the experience as another nation. There are other empires I would like to keep, so I have tried to either give them the HRE tag role or shatter them. I think the issue I'm coming across is I do not know what the tagline would be for them. I have tried e_mesopotamian_empire, but this didn't work. If someone could help me shatter this beast I would really appreciate it.
My converter version is also .09 because my CK3 save was on the version before the culture update.
