Apologies if this is one that's asked a lot, but is there a way to specify partitions of empires, or which powerful vassals to be released? In spite of having two large kingdoms under my empire, everything is staying unified - is the problem that I'm trying to have two vassal states? Playing as the Greater Moravian Empire, and want the Republic of Italia and the Arabian Marches to be vassal states.
Have attached both the CK3 save and 7zip file of the converted savegame mod, in case they'd help

My friends and I are trying to do a multiplayer grand campaign; however, I cannot get the uploaded mod to work. Whenever I start it doesn't load and it is the base game map. I am trying to upload to Paradox Plaza Mods, as my friends have the game on Epic Games. I'm not sure how I should go about uploading the mod to Paradox Plaza, as I assume I uploaded it wrong which is causing my problems.

The converter was never designed for fine-tuning, that's something you need to do manually. If you want two specific vassals, release them before conversion as independent, and then after conversion in eu4 use console to vassalize them, or manually edit the mod to make them vassals.

If you're subscribed to the same mod you have locally (one produced by the converter in your mod folder), it won't load either thanx to launcher being launcher. You can only have 1 source of the same mod at the same time.
As for how to upload a mod to a plaza or steam, use the "upload mod" button in the launcher. None of this is a converter issue.
 
I just wanted to drop in and say thanks for making the converters. I'm playing a series of games in EU4 right now based on a CK3 game I played until I got too strong then ran on observer until the end date. Thanks in part to my antics there are a ton of fun/weird setups and it's a lot of fun. I'll probably pick the most interesting iteration and repeat the observer mode step to get to Vic2.

It's like adding an alt history mod generator to the game, plus I think EU4 actually benefits from the weird CK border gore. Playing Orthodox Morocco with random small holdings in Sub-Saharan Africa, Tunis and a highly developed Ireland is quite fun.

How do I use the define HRE text thing?

I changed the name of the HRE in my game in ck3 and i think that may of confused the converter making so that my kingdom of frisia had no ruler and the HRE did not exist. I was also playing as the holy roman emperor if that helps

NVM i fixed there being no HRE by changing the hre diplomacy file, but frisia still has no ruler and it's hereditary only with no elections. Is there a way to manually assign the CK3 holy roman emperor to the frisian title since I had both titles while ruling along with fixing the election issue?

You probably want to edit your frisia's history file, give it actual ruler and possibly alter the government reform it uses.

Is there any document or lookup where it's easy to see what different tenets and religious doctrines will get converted as? Also, anything dynamic for culture pillars and traditions? It seems like ruler cultural traditions would be great as a source of dynamic national ideas (and traditions/ambition), at least for dynamically created tags, but I didn't see any reference to them in patch notes and it seems like it would be a pretty big system to add without announcing (and, for that matter, to have added so quickly)

In the game settings change nation settings to normal setup.

I also need your Converted - Liguria mod so I can reproduce this. Please upload a zip with it - both the .mod file + its entire folder. Thanx.

For religions look inside configurables\religions\dynamic\doctrine_definitions.txt. As for dynamic cultures, we're working on such a feature, no release date yet.

In your free time, if you are be willing, can someone please add compatibility with the fallen eagle and RICE? especially the fallen eagle, i tried again and again to fix splintering nations there, to no avail, probably due to my lack of modding skills , I would be overthankful if you'll at least consider adding compatibility with those mods.

We don't do compatibility patches with mods without authors of said mods or interested third parties volunteer to keep the patches up to date.
 
understandable, could i at least get some help fixing it myself? for instance if i explain here the issue, i am very new to modding.
Do the mods change Provinces, religions, cultures? Fix splintering how, should things be splintering more or less?
