Believe me guys, my intention was never to get the bonus for that one, i just asked to see what you thought about because after i did its when the idea got into my mind.
I'm ok with your thought, its kinda short, but i had to ask anyway :D
The good thing is that i completed part of the story

Okay can all edits pls be posted for me so I can do the edits pls?

1500 gold to: Jens Z(France), Joohoo(unknown realm). I say we save Joohoo's bonus to next round, he will probably rather have it as Georgia anyway.
-2,5BB to: germax(Pronsk). Keep in mind though that players can 'save' BB reduction, so when you have made the edits Sid, post how much BB you subtracted from Pronsk. The remainder is saved 'til next session. I'll keep track of that though, just post the numbers so I can take notes.

And next time, get off your own lazy ass and scout the thread, GM! ;)

:p

i didn't know you could save the BB reduction :p that's why i had the idea of the middle reduction, well. good anyway.
BTW i'm ready to play

I recommend everyone to not tabb just before host starts game. :D
It can make your graphic bleed.

Nice session last sunday. :)

However, as I mentioned earlier in this thread, one things which I find really annoying is the intentionally assasinating of family members with bad stats by the help of other players.

Those bad stats are part of the game just as good stats and if an heir or wife is cursed with bad stats we should accept that, suck it up and hope for a better next generation.

I would really appreciate if we could phrase a houserule against such an obvious exploit of game mechanics.

The game is so much more fun if we dont always have Ubermenschen.

What happened to Poland? I assume that germax and sid's comments are about that.

you annexed Bohemia :)

That's all? Did anything else happen (as in did my entire kingdom fall apart)? If not, I can fix that little Bohemia problem with a simple land grant.

and you are in a war with old friends, seljuks

Holy... how bad is it?

This week's session

Players

Germax--Pronsk
Vlad--Kiev
Jens Z--France
Varyar--England
Kujy--León
Joohoo--Byzantium
Sander--Naples

We played 12 and a half years this time, coming iirc from mid 1112 to mid 1125. Major event of the session, the annexation of Bohemia by Poland, dunno how. Things in England and Spain were pretty quiet, just economical building, Norway won a war agains Denmark and stayed quiet for the rest of the time, Germany had to fight some rebellions but the Empire is safe, Byzantium made some conquest over Serbian lands and secured his position a little bit more over the Balkans. In Russia the Duchies began with a major economical expansion and the annexation of the last free duchy, well, just the counties, poland took the duchy tittles for itself, then Pronsk attacked an independant muslim county when the crusade to jerusalem was called and got attacked by the Seljuks, Poland rapidly joined. So far Poland is winning the war with 3 provinces taken in Cuman lands but the muslim forces are still strong. Over the mediterranean, Naples managed to turn the poor economy into the best of Europe and taught a lesson to Italy over the control of the peninsula.

they took a couple of provs they dont apppear to be entirly motivated though.

Good session, we're steadily progressing despite quite a few crashes.

BTW, Sid, could you post the adress to the server you used to upload saves, so Sterk can put it in the first post? That system could be quite effective if everyone gets the hang of it.

Well, while it may not mean much to the point you're making, I'd like to explain the situation in question: old king Richard had two sons. His eldest died young, but sired two sons. The younger one of these sons, also named Richard, survived. The king's other son, Jordan, was designated heir to the throne by the salic consanguinity laws. Old king Richard fell into depression in his 50's, and succession seemed imminent. However, the king lingered on, and suddenly Jordan dies very young(in his early 30's IIRC). Now you'd expect Jordan's eldest son Robert to be next in line? Hell no. Richard the younger pops up like jack-in-the-box, reserving the throne both for himself and his own three children.

If a particular character falls out of the inheritence line I can live with it. If a whole branch suddenly and unexpectedly falls off and reveals a neglected half-rotten branch, I get upset. Especially considering the circumstances.

I would really appreciate if we could phrase a houserule against such an obvious exploit of game mechanics.

I'll bow to the wishes of the majority. Personally though I'd prefer to leave it an open issue for the players. Just because I wanted help doesn't mean someone would provide it.
