You must be in the same province of the character you'd like to "visit". In case, you can move your character freely by making him lead an army.

The game was working fine before now I am having the same problems as others. I wish there was a way to be excluded from ALL automatic updates, so frickin annoying.

I started playing 7999 scenario, so just before the conquest. The Targaryens of Dragonstone are just sitting still, they are not even conquering the independant weak lords around... Is it WAD or is there anything that will make them go crazy in westeros ?

Some versions ago the Targaryen conquered practically everything on the 7999 scenario. I think this was nerfed so that they only start the War of Conquest during the related scenario, to give some chances of alternate history, other than the Targs always stomping everyone.

This doesn't seem to have worked.

it works well. if not, i would look for reasons like for example a homosexual charakter.

or maybe, the charakter you want to visit is not in your province. for example producing a claim in another province or at kings court.

Can't download the mod via Firefox... Through IE it works... weird.:blink:

There's the advisor fix mod, but it hasn't been updated to work with the current patch. It crashes the game.
