Build the dragon pit! It is the only way in my opinion. Tried 10 times at least without it with no results... Then constructed the dragon pit (your city might be severely damaged by the time its constructed, but it will recover). Then I tamed it from 1st attempt with the pit.

A few questions:
1.How does tyranny work? Does it transfer from king to heir? No matter what I do, the heir have tyrrany, and they did not have it before the tyrant king died...
2.Why does sacrificing people to the drowned god increase tyranny? The blot did not...
3.What is a good Demesne for Harren? I got riverrun and a few others, but found revolts on Iron islands to be really difficult to manage without a sufficient number of ships... So gave riverrun away, and focused on Iron Islands now (while heeping Harrenhal as the only continental holding)
4.Conversion - both cultural and religious, does it actually work? I don't think I saw percentage when I send the priest to spread the faith at Harrenhall
5.Can you reform a religion? Harren needs only Storms end to control all 5 religious sites.

I've never seen a reform religion option. Also, apparently a percentage of your tyranny will transfer to your heir when you die. Religious conversion works, though it takes a while (about 5% per year usually). Cultural......well educating children works as before, as far as provinces i've actually never seen a province flip culture in all my many hours of playing this mod.

Thanks for the replies. My game crashes when loading the two last saves though :(
Just when Harrens son started bringing stability and Iron Islanders as counts and dukes in the riverlands (while revoking most of iron islands to avoid revolts you can not fight without ships)

You can't reform any of the religions because they aren't in the Pagan group. They all use the Catholic mechanics.

You can. But the reformed religion entry must precede the reformable religion in the group (whatever that may be).

I meant from a modding point of view. None of the AGOT mod religions are reformable.

The mirrors don't seem to be working, where can I download the mod?
Ah, too bad. IIRC, should be somebody in the latest release-thread that has uploaded it to mediashare or something :)

maybe this :
Uploaded to mediafire and sendspace - idk if we're allowed to post those links here but I've posted it in the mod's official forums, the 0.4.7.2 release thread, for anyone who wants them

No idea if this is still relevant though.

Hey, just out of curiosity and because I don't have the time or energy to check through almost 500 pages for this, is it impossible to tame dragons if you're not a Targaryen?

Also, does anything in particular determine tourney winners? Just since it makes no sense to me for say, a formidable fighter with 30 martial to never ever win or even place in any grand tourneys he's invited to.

How can this end well.

Just had a thought. It'd be quite cool if, when the last member of the current royal family dies, instead of it going to one of the high-ranked vassals in the Crownlands or anything, there was a big vote for what family should take over the throne, kind of like a Kingsmoot of sorts, as, say, the Hand and his family regents the throne prior to said vote (that could also make things interesting with an overly-ambitious former Hand grasping as much power as he can). Because I have often thought, if Daenerys does ever end up taking the throne and all the other claimants lose their heads or anything, and she definitely has no other legitimate relatives, aaand she never has children, who would inherit after she dies?

Who ever has the largest army.

Martial ability has nothing to do with fighting. A good commander isn't necessarily a good fighter.
