Hey, just out of curiosity and because I don't have the time or energy to check through almost 500 pages for this, is it impossible to tame dragons if you're not a Targaryen?

Also, does anything in particular determine tourney winners? Just since it makes no sense to me for say, a formidable fighter with 30 martial to never ever win or even place in any grand tourneys he's invited to.

Targaryen's (and High Valyrian's) get a bonus, but anyone can do it if they aquire enough Dragonlore and/or build a Dragonpit. And tournament ability is not based off the martial score but on fighting feats.

Martial ability has nothing to do with fighting. A good commander isn't necessarily a good fighter.

Yup, just look at Tywin. Excellent ability to lead, is never found on the front line.

You missed the part where I said the same guy is also a Formidable Fighter. :p

And you can't build a dragonpit at all since there's no technology in the mod, so I don't see what else you can do dragonwise. I've been able to kill two but it would've been nice to tame one.

Hm I can't access the files on moddb, nor can I with any other moddb links. Any idea why? :/

Gamefront seems to block a few countries. Go read post#9753 and afterwards off to the Citadel forum.

Makes sense, but I'm not sure how else to acquire dragonlore since obviously killing them doesn't count (I've bagged two).

Field of Fire, Oldtown, Dragonstone, Kings Landing, Summerhall and Harrenhal. Thats the 6 intel-locations for dragons. Just go there, though im not sure whether you have to have a dragon egg first for them to trigger. Basicly take a army, make your king/queen leader and move them to those provinces, it should trigger after a few days.

Also, the Field of Fire is the province of Hammerhal in the northern Reach.

Hi,

at first, e very great mod, nearly perfect :) wanna see this as an official addon for CK2 :D

But two little qeustion:
1st: I married Stannis with Denarys, but she never has childs. both feritility 50%+ (looked with charinfo 1) and good relations. Is that e kind of feature for Stannis (wont have childs? :D) or Denarys (just want Khal? :p)?

2nd: Is there e german version of the Mod planned?

greets

does Dany still have the "widowed" trait? Or does Stannis?

Also going to go out on a limb here and venture a guess that no, they aren't planning a German version

Can anyone give me advice on how to download onto Mac? I've played on my windows laptop before but i want to do a multiplayer game with my friends and my mac has a better connection to the internet

You need to edit the save file (open it as a text file, it takes awhile to load up) to remove Danny's widowed trait if you're playing from a certain time in history. It also makes her nearly impossible to marry due to her infertility percentage. Her traits will be numbers (guessing here) like 11 34 58 22 and so on. I don't know which one is Widow. You may also want to change the fertility tag in the file too, put it at 20% or something, or at least higher than what it was before.

Aw man, I know it's going to be a while but I'm so excited for Essos. Trying to play a realistic scenario as Aegor Bittersteel at his Golden Company HQ in the Frostfangs just doesn't cut it.
