You can herd your vampire courtiers, maybe prisoners too I forgot. You can even leave them back home and drink from them when commanding an army half a world away. Though you have to be at home yourself to start the scheme.

Rulers cannot be herded or treated as such as I recall. Whether landing your cattle frees your herd slot or not, I do not know.
Yes, i know, but it works exactly in the same way, i need to spend 500 piety every time, it does not matter if it is a prisoner, herd, or normal human that i hunt. So i am all the time in the 2000 - 5000 negative piety...

Hurting kine (maybe ghouls/vampires/revenants too), taking a lot of or all blood, is bad for conscience tenet faiths.

Not all roads or paths look so favorably upon murder. Choosing to play a vampire with conscience is hard mode. Also, if you want to play such a vampire, its better to keep your blood potency low. With a low enough blood potency, you can even feed off animals.

If you also had the compassionate trait, you'd take an additional stress hit for murder.

I think you're misunderstanding how Hunger works. You don't need to be at 0 hunger to use disciplines, your current hunger level just gives you a stress gain/loss modifier.

Does anybody know a compatible mod which permits toggling debug mode in game? Free Console Access in both versions breaks masquerade and blood bars (irrelevant) and blood sorcery menu (critical). Or simply does not work if loaded before Princes of Darkness.

Stupid Paradox not letting us access console at will.

Yes, i understand, and i am ok that you have to kill the human to get enough blood, but spending 500 piety every time i need to get blood is insane. Like i said, it can take 40 years to get it back. I am supposed to use vampiric powers once every 40 years?
The piety cost depends on your religion. It sounds like you are some kind of humanist faith. Switch to Path of Screams and everything goes.

I simply use the in settings debug mode and it works fine.
  1. Right click on Crusader Kings 3.
  2. Select 'Properties'
  3. Click the 'General' tab.
  4. Click 'Set Launch Options'
  5. Add '-debug_mode' to the launch options.
  6. Launch the game.

Sadly, if disabled, it cannot be re-enabled without restarting the game. If enabled, tooltips get cluttered with debug data and debug interactions push many of the mod interactions off screen.

I suppose it is viable to adjust the starting character.

When I run into mod compatibility issues, especially with gui files, I just use a program called WinMerge to paste one mod into the other. Does require a little bit of fidgeting and has to be done anew with every patch version, of course.

There is "Debug Toggle (Less Invasive)" in Steam workshop which add a button in game encyclopedia to allow toggling debug mode. I just checked and it seems to work fine.

I feel mix and matching, as the middle ages took the same approach to antiquity as ren faires do the middle ages. update and fit it current styles and mash all history together. Also questions like, who makes it and where do you get the materials and craftsmen. I feel even with immortals who were alive at the time hanging around, Ancient Egyptian costumes in 1200s would look 100% authentic to them but look, like clothes from the 1200s to us?

I currently have imprisoned a spawn of satan but the git is in torpor so I can't burn it at the stake, only torture it. Any suggestions how I can send this creature back to the dark pit from whence it crawled?

Torpored vampires are considered "away" for most interactions. Other vampires can search for their resting place to awaken them. For inquisitors, they can't, but torpored vampires will awaken by themselves given time. So you can simply wait for their awakening to kill them.

We are talking about people who lived in the actual era, have memories of it and such. They perhaps even have ghouls who were craftsmen back then or, at the worse, can instruct medieval craftsmen in how to do it. The Setites, at the very least, are a very centralized clan with cults and such, this type of information would be safely stored in one of their many temples.

So if i understand it right it is no longer possible to awake vampires in torpor by given them land. Instead we need to find their hiding place and then we can recruit them if we want?

It is still possible to awaken them by giving them land. The "search for hiding place" is just another option on top of it, which allows you to recruit them at the end (as a useful member of your court perhaps) or try to diablerize them if you prefer.

I somehow befriend one, and invited her to my court (even when she is in torpor). But i cannot grant her any title (the option is greyed). I could even make her my court physician, apparently, but i cannot give her land.

I wasn't consistent in my wording. I meant to say, if a torpored vampire gets land somehow (inheritance, claims get pushed etc) he will be awakened by a maintenance event like before the patch. Besides that option, they are "away" and must be either awakened by finding their lair, or just waiting for them to wake up.
