The possibility of two single front wars? What would we loose by waiting?
That's because we're both cynical old men.
Pretty wild you were able to make more by working half the time.
... or maybe not.
They've taken up orbit around the second moon of the fourth planet. That Moon is mineralized.
Hopefully this won't be a repeat of the Modron escalation to war. We have a colony with a 50,000 EM signature in Luyten.

The Bork continue to hang out on a moon in the Luyten's Star system.
I don't really care if they mine one of our moons... but will it remain at that level of irritation, or escalate?
Makes me wonder how that came to be.Yes.
Agreement here. I think the real threat is something interrupting us before we can execute.Does everybody agree that we should accelerate the time-table and launch Operation Blue Moon II as soon as the current Mountain class Tender is filled?
That will probably be a month or six weeks from now.
They might entrench, making it harder for them to recognise our claim. What would we loose by waiting?
Sounds Good.Does everybody agree that we should accelerate the time-table and launch Operation Blue Moon II as soon as the current Mountain class Tender is filled?

Seriously? How did the Panama canal come to exist? Do you think it is natural and was always there? No. It is essentially a big "ditch" dug across the isthmus of Panama. Not entirely accurate as the land is not flat so there are a series of locks and ponds. Look it up someday. The operation is fascinating. Though, to be honest, we would have been better off going through Nicaragua instead.Makes me wonder how that came to be.
Also interesting is the story of how the USA snaffled the isthmus in the first place.Seriously? How did the Panama canal come to exist? Do you think it is natural and was always there? Or to paraphrase it into what you said:Agreement here. I think the real threat is something interrupting us before we can execute.
"a good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week"
I know it's dug. It's just by ditch I think much smaller things. Plus isn't several og those lakes natural?Seriously? How did the Panama canal come to exist? Ah. Thanks.Wagonlitz:
search "green flash sunset" not just "green flash"
Here's the picture that comes up first when i searched.
It is a nice pic, and seems to be hosted on a site that shows many other pics of said green flash.
I hope this posts as i have added content to let the forum decide that i am not posting spam
apparently i have not succeeded. If you search "green flash sunset" this should be the wording on the first link
"When the California sun turns green"
It happens often, but the conditions have to be just right which is why after 16 years at sea, I have actually seen it with my own eyes twice. It does happen also at sunrise but it is more elusive to actually catch on film or see with your eyes. At sunrise, you have to anticipate where the sun will be at the right time. It is "easier" to see at sunset. Personally, I have never seen it at sunriseAh. Thanks.
So it happens every single day at sunset? But never at sunrise?
And can be seen all over the world as long as there's line of sight?
Ah. If you're close enough to the poles that thr sun during summer only is a few degrees below the horizon you can predict where it rises, or will that prevent the flash from appearing? It happens often, but the conditions have to be just right which is why after 16 years at sea, I have actually seen it with my own eyes twice. Yes. Mostly on gator freighters but I also spent time on the USS America cv66. Only a few weeks they had a small detachment of 10 of us. We berthed with the SEALs and EOD guys. I was surprised at all the different types of units represented on the carrier. CIA, USAF, NIS(now called NCIS), officers from various NATO countries, civilian tech reps and "contractors". It was an eclectic mix to be sure.Ah. 16 years? You sailed 6 years in the navy?
