The surrender event chains have not been dealt with as yet. Rest assured they are on the agenda. We will revise the chains for Germany, Italy, Japan, UK, USA, and Russia.

Suggestions
1) AI improved. This is a hard one as it can't possibly deal with all the variables and the way they change during the war, so I understand the limitations on this one. Anything that makes it a better opponent is appreciated.
2) Documentation on new tech trees. The tech trees are great but a bit confusing. This is just a matter of finding the time to get it (maybe a player will document it).
3) I would like to see a 39 or 41 scenario if possible. I do everything I can not to 'get ahead' before the war starts (I've played only US on Core2 so far). Since I know WWII pretty well, I have urges to do what I need to be prepared.
There's so incredibly much to document that I don't think anyone would actually read it before throwing their arms up in the air and search the forums for help. I do have collected a few things for a couple of the tech trees in a work-in-progress-FAQ, which should be in my signature. Otherwise just feel free to ask how stuff work (though I can almost guarantee you'll learn yourself after a little while).thebox said:2) Documentation on new tech trees. They were dropped, obviously.sailorbilly said:1. Question. What happen to the British troop transports from the originan Hoi2.
Hagar said:They were dropped, obviously.MateDow has attempted to stick to the real 1936 naval OOB, and surprisingly troop ships were few and far between at the time. Britain only had a few (at first we thought they didn't have any, but Historyman was able to prove otherwise), which still have to be included (slipped through in 0.2, and is Mantified). Furthermore the commandeering of ocean liners is on the to-do list, which would give some additional TP's as well.
You mean there's still room for it?sailorbilly said:2. Suggestions. How about adding a medical tech tree in either the Industry or Land sections. By adding different tech you would save manpower reductions. This is only natural as the advancement in medicine saved lives and reducted replacements.
Intentionally low, to simulate hit-and-run behaviour.sailorbilly said:Question 2. What happen to the submarine organization. They have none. They start at zero and stay there. Subs can not attack or be used at all.

But in this case they don't suffer any losses. It is very hard to sink a SS if it runs away immediatelly. Also, a SS fleet should be able to sink unescorted capital ships...
Well, they do seem to sink quite a number of capital ships already, especially as the AI is still running fleets around like there is no sub threat at all, especially early-war. And I do lose some SS's occasionally as well. But I guess it will be tweaked somewhat in later versions.Spricar said:[But in this case they don't suffer any losses.
