Ok, so I now have 2 games on my wishlist for early next year, and both of them are Paradox games. Very nice!

Thats really interesting.
And it looks good too. :)

Cant wait, until i can play it.

It was really time that Paradox takes part in the 4X Space Genre. :)
I really hope that this projekt isnt too ambituous, like HoI3 was, some years ago.

At least, graphics are best in the genre, as it shows from all the pictures.
Maybe after decades we get a really good Space 4X Game after MoO2.

Could be even one, that reinvents the Genre again, now after Paradox has grown into a proffessional bigger company.

Stellaris has the potential to surpass EU as Paradox's flagship franchise, if they manage to deliver their promises without a bug-ridden mess to follow closely.

The single worse kept secret of paradox, the steam page was up yesterday for gods sake, so was the trailer.

Also i do not have enough money for all of these games, and for god sake they still have two more projects: Tiberius and the other one whose name i forgot.

Rome2/Vick3 confirmed.

Hey we did actually admit it was the worst kept secret :)

I read the article, and I'm entirely sold!

My thoughts on some things that were mentioned: Multi-player will be one of the core features if I understand, but so far there are no negative false assumptions around that. The designer sounds like an interesting optional alternative to the default pre-designed ships.

Meh.

But no, generic space game with just seven factions (I bet there will be the military one, the science one, the trading one, etc.) like so many others out there.

Meh.
Not just seven factions, seven phenotypes as a base for the countless random factions.

I too would personally have preferred Earth colonising the galaxy and finding nothing, instead resorting to squabbling among the colonies. Aliens just seem a little overdone to me.
This is most likely moddable, with a start with only humans having already colonised things.

Yes, this is going to be amazing.

I hope there will still be room for macro planetary scale conflict, EG. conflict between two factions dwelling on the same planet.

I hope so too, or at least I hope there will come a time where it can be modded in. A mod that allows for wars on earth between factions as well as in space would be excellent.

While I agree, now I'll go through so many t-shirts. STELLA! STELLLLLLAAAAAA!
