Um, could we perhaps cease with the discussion of certain internet denizens known for their porn-fanart.

Don't reeeeealy think this is the exact time and/or place for such things.

Yes, of course. Sorry to all, I got carried away.

I was just trawling the comments of the RPS article and this exchange came up:

It sounds over complex and liable to turn into a gigantic mess

Welcome to Paradox grand strategy.
Pretty much sums it up, really. Looking forward to this. :D

Well, I guess I will buy this! It is a new idea, in a new genre with new systems, instead of boring, old rome, it is dynamic, ever changing space.
But the real question is, will I buy a bug infested copy at release, or one later, after the first DLC? I kinda want it at release, but experiance from past Paradox games suggests this is not a good idea...

Damn it, now I want to play space games and all I have is a copy of Spore that won't boot...

Why would he be pissed? I must be missing something.
I think the joke is that King would be pissed he left Paradox, since they're developing this now.

Ohh, I see. I actually missed that he'd left. Didn't think of it until I saw that and realized I hadn't seen any posts by him in forever.
Yeah, he left awhile ago. So syaaad... :(

Do you honestly believe that commissar stands a chance? 40K is a world with flamethrowing nuns. They've probably already been overtaken, and neither of us had the strength of will or stomach to risk googling it...

COLONEL-Comissar!
