Can you start as the inevitable and glorious Empire of Poland?

Also can/will there be procedurally generated Technologies?

I literally love everything i've heard about this so far, the only thing in the Q and A that concerned me was the possibility of a win condition.

I already know what race I'm going to start out as.

Creepy red-eyed bug people uber alles!

The single worse kept secret of paradox, the steam page was up yesterday for gods sake, so was the trailer.

Also i do not have enough money for all of these games, and for god sake they still have two more projects: Tiberius and the other one whose name i forgot.

Rome2/Vick3 confirmed.

Far as I could tell from what Henrik was saying during the Livestream, it sounds like CK2+EU4+POPs from Vicky 2. Pretty damn epic if you ask me.

I know for sure I heard Henrik utter the word "population" and that if you choose robotic workers he was suggesting they might rise up against you.

Sounds like they also added HoI into the mix with all the galactic crises (World War in a Universal scale?).

I hope that this game will have complex internal politics (government, political systems, ruler and his dynasty in galactic monarchies etc) some pool of characters like in ck2 would also be nice. All space strategies don't care about this and offer us just boring exploration and conquering.

POPs, leaders, random factions (with random traits), galactic crisis, huge map up to 1000 planetary systems, and more (than I can remember).

Huge hype.

Well, from the way they talked about it, it sounds more like a hybrid between Grand Strategy and 4X games, so the win condition might be more along the lines of the 4X influence in this game. Like they said though, there isn't really an end in regards to a certain time at which it will end, so the victory condition is kind of necessary in this case or the game will just go on forever.

The big question now is: Will there be multiplayer?

I took a look at the official Steam Stellaris-page and it mentioned the game being singleplayer. Not that it would be a big malus for me.
