He did, as the ill-starred Sonny Ceylan. Just saw the news this morning. Another familiar face gone, at least not way too early. May he RIP.
I did not use the news, I saw @Wraith11B's. For fast-breaking world information, READ @Bullfilter!

Just a general reminder that votes are due. I'll not chase up individually, but will give an informal extension until the morning (my time - say about 10 hours from now) for any last votes to make their way in, then will go with what I've got so far, with defaults per the scoresheets for any missing ones.

All the best everyone,

SG LN

Been mildly unwell today, so I won’t get to the latest vote tally till tomorrow, all being ok. So if there’s any outstanding votes, here’s your chance. Sorry for the delay.

I just finished reading through the end of the war in Europe and the rules laid out by the Secretary General for the peace conference. Bravo @Bullfilter! This has been a fantastic AAR. If I hadn’t hit a slowdown patch in reading through it a month or two ago, I would’ve volunteered to try my hand in diplomacy for Romania or Spain. I haven’t read ahead to see what round the conference is in. I’m already enjoying all the back and forth taking place between the various players leading up to the first vote. Kudos to everyone.

Bravo and thanks so much for that big reading effort. You will now be better versed in some of the earlier stuff than I am, as it was written five or more years ago, when I was still learning how to do an AAR (frankly, I still am).

We’re now voting on Round Six, so the Romania slot is still open if you want it. Never too late for our old ally to send a more senior representative to the Conference: the current chap is just the Ambassador to Switzerland and has been ”voting the ticket” without negotiating so far.

Let me know if you’d like to receive the confidential briefing notes and attend the rest of the Conference. Noting that Round Five did decide the big one for Romania, which stays as a Turkish puppet, but they have still been auto voting and scoring bargaining points along the way.

Sure, I’ll represent Romania from here. Send me the notes. Thanks.

Will do so in the morning (my time). If you need an extension for the next vote, the SECGEN will make the arrangements.

I hope that everyone enjoyed the Bastille Day reception and fireworks. I would like everyone to vote their conscience and not their short-sighted self interest and reward the brave French who gave their lives buying time for others to prepare to fight the fascist scum. If you divide France and find yourselves in a fiery abyss, please do not break in line ahead of Hits and Musso for not all yellow drinks are made from the juice of lemons.
