Human Fallen Empires are always fun. :D

I guess the implication is that Earth is a lost colony of their "true" empire, but in that case there should probably be some special dialogue acknowledging that they're the same species.
IIRC, they get a exact copy of the Sol System as their Capitol System, down to teh tile blockers/special deposits.

It is propably some "timey wimey" stuff.

Our Sol is, in fact, an old tourist attraction, an entire system modeled to resemble the real Sol system.

"Experience the culture of the human core system, without the high costs!"

No, they still live on Cradle/The Core if they're humans.

Would love to see a Fallen Empire version of Sol, though! Earth, Mars, and Venus as Gaia worlds...

To those of you who were asking for a DLC exploring the core of the galaxy, y'all can relax now, I found it.

I had a game where another empire spawned with the exact same species name as mine, but different species themselves. I titled it "When alternate universes collide". I'd post it, but I'm tech-illiterate when it comes to this kind of stuff (you try to look for help online and get 20 different answers and none of them work).

Was pretty funny when they responded to my insult "We just trademarked Quenti must die" when they, themselves, were called the Quenti.

Here is an answer that works: when you are posting here, click the "Upload a File" button, and select the file to upload. Insert that in your post. Done. :)

It's a different inflection. Quenti vs Quenti.

So... I have had a somewhat peculiar playthrough with lots of quirks.

For example, my biologists staunchly refused to do anything else before I allowed them to dedicate time and ressources to their pet project: Increasing our capacityy for producing useless food.
/Edit: Also, as you can see behind the menu, I was also being insulted by a neighbouring empire. Rough day at work, indeed.

Y u even care about food.PNG

You are a robot, what do you even care about food?! You know what? FINE! I relent. You win. Just get it done and get back to work.

Found these on some FE worlds I conquered. Also: How? Is this a bio-machine-fusion thing? Can we get an ascension path for this?

As it turns out, the AI loves to build habitats and then just leave them there.
Real Estabe Boom.png

Then it struck me: This is not the AI being stupid, this is the real economy in motion and they were just going through their version of a real estate boom and bust cycle, aggravated though faulty government incentives and misjudgement of expected population growth. At the height of the boom, investors did build more and more housing, regardless of location or safety, even sharing the same unstable orbit with decrepit, ancient ruins which may or may not hold dangerous compunds and bio hazards. My offensive war put an end to their speculations.
A bit crammed up there.PNG

e/:
"Yeah bro, so I invested in this real estate development project called Demon's Maw II."
"That sounds ominous. What happened to Demon's Maw I?"

Oh yeah, the cuts to R&D are showing:

Sad robot. :(

Yes, but where is the file? I checked the folder and nada.

Hey there. The answer depends on how you took the screenshot. As far as I am aware, both Steam and GoG Galaxy have an overlay which allows you to take screenshots easily and puts them neatly sorted into a specified folder. Depending on your platform the implementation might differ, just google your platform + screenshot folder and there you go. Once you have the image, if you are using windows, right click on it and chose "edit" (not sure if that is the actual word used, my System is running on German) and the image will be opened up in Paint, where you can crop the image to your liking, cutting off unnecessary parts or highlighting details. You could also always press your 'print' key, then just open up paint and press [ctrl]+[V] and voila, the screenshot will be inserted into Paint. However, you will find that using this method, while relyable, feels dirty.

Thanks, but the file still came up as an attachment, rather than a picture like the others here. Is there a way around that?

I might be willing to believe that the home world of a species of treasure hoarding rats still has something resembling a river delta somewhere, but a temperate forest? Especially with that dragon lurking somewhere? Yeah no, thats not happening.

And if your wondering why this is my first colony, I'm playing a Life-Seeded Empire. Apparently Relic Worlds get around the gaia world preference issue.
