Well, having to live a hotel for a month without being able to play the game was probably what caused my loss of interest. But I might pick the game up one of these days and might get myself "rehooked".
I totally understand what you mean by being unable to accurately comment on the game for not playing it so long.

Nitpicking is good.
Maybe more appealing to play than create? One thing we could do is to restart a "Vinland v.1" thread, leaving this 71 page monster behind. The thread itself is enough to scare away people I guess
Is there any way you can think of that we can "market" this mod more effectively?
I have the AAR, we posted the first release in the EU2 main forum, and still no real increase in contribution. Is vinland simply not appealing?

This is a modern word, meaning "trade centre"...
I agree we don't need to remove it entirely. Cash shortage will also reduce the usage in the beginning. But the way it is now you get (i think) ~2 each year...Originally posted by Stingray
It makes no sense to me to entirely remove colonists in the beginning. The only way to expand then is to either wait for 50 years or so, changing the DP, or to quickly take a loan and invade the micmacs before they get forts. Can't you just lower it to 0,1 or something??

I'd suggest Blue cove: Blávik. Hjörland make sense now - the rest doesn't...
And Verslunarmiðstöð (oh, come on - shopping center?Should we put in a Wal-Mart too
) I'd rather see the more proper Kaupang

Mine isn't very good either, but I do at least have the advantage of knowing a related language and a tad bit of Old Norse from my High School days...Originally posted by Languish
Being an englishman, my medieval icelandic/nordic is a tad... well... crap.
