I noticed that you used the Ghurids for the Hephtalites. However, I found this on the FotW site: (Avars as well)

Could you perhaps create those (Hephtalites & Avars)? Could you also make the one at Empire of the European Huns (Avrupa Hun Imparatorlugu) for Altyn Oba? Just remember to use the correct template (Birger Jarls Roman one)

Sorry... me free graphics time goes to sprites...

A question for those who play this scenario with the 476-start. How often do you see Ostrogoths getting into Italy during Theoderik's reign? Half the time, rarely or often?

It might be worth running the scenario with the latest beta; when loading, it pulled up a large number of ID conflicts for me (16022, 17192, 17012, 17013, 17032, 15224, 20081, 15322, 16007, 15397, 17294. I think they were all monarch ones).

Also, I was playing the Vandals - didn't quite get to Theoderic's Ostrogoths though - and I felt their Arianism event could do with some tweaking: there wasn't any upside to persecuting the Catholics. Perhaps you could chuck in a random religious conversion, at least for the 'extra persecution' option?

I've played 5 or 6 games as the Bavarians, Franks and Wessex and during Theoderik's reign the Ostrogoth's didn't get any further than the first event "The Ostrogoths invade Italy". By then it was probably too late for the rest of Theodorik's event's. :( I never saw them take Ravenna or the rest Italy.

I've played with the Ostrogoths the 476 start. It's really fun :) :) untill their events dry up. After kicking WRE and ERE's ass, converting almost the whole the empire to Arianism and having the Visigoth's as an ally, well, the fun is a little bit out of the game by the year 600. There is nothing more to do than stomping the little German tribes or trying to vassalize the Visigoths (Didn't work).
Are their any other evnets coming up? Maybe an event where the Longobards or Slavs come down the hills and do some landgrabbing to get it exciting again? Or an event with an invasion by the Bulgar Khanate in Wallachia, Bujak, Rumelia and Bulgaria around 679? Or Avar's?
Are their events in the making for the Arabians?

wryun: Thanks for finding those ID conflicts. All were fixed except one which I only found one monarch using the specific ID. Added a free conversion of the capital in action b. If you think action is not really worth it maybe the centralization could be increased one additional step?

Mendoran: Glad you like playing with them. To bad Justinian defeated them so the events added after the middle of the 6th century will not be many. Most will probably be province-specific events (that's how I plan to handle the Slavic migrations), but they may also gain some events regarding Langobards and Avars. But even if they won't have much more events some neighbours (such as the Franks and ERE) will, and may prove some sort of challenge, who knows.

I've created a few events that will create the Caliphate, for now only versions if no 'outsider' have taken Medina or Mekkah, but it's a start.

I also have now created an event for splitting Wei into Eastern and Western Wei. Western is represented by Tang together with dynasties of Northern Zhou and Sui. Eastern Wei and Northern Qi are using the same tag as Wei, but I may give them their own tag (probably naming it to Northern Qi since that dynasty lasted longer (27 years with 8(9 if you count Fan Yang Wang) Emperors compared to 16 years and 1 Emperor)) so one may choose to become the western part which is the one meant to unite China (currently you have to become the eastern part). Will make an event when Sui dynasty comes to power that will add cores on Nanjing.

Cool! i'm looking forward to those new events you spoke of.
I started two other games to check the Ostrogohts and they went well. Theodoric barged in to Italy without any problems. So the event works a bit random than. Probably depends on, if the Ostrogoths have the strength, space and time to invade Italy.

I seem to miss some famous Arab and ERE leaders in the game. Are they being created too, or do you need any help with that?

The ERE and Arab leaders will be included, but I would prefer if someone else would do them besides me. Just post those them with startdate and deathdate and proposed skill, and I'll take care of the rest. This goes for leaders for all other nations too.

Lofman: Ok I got some Arabian generals for ya.
I gave most of them high scores on shock and movement for their mainly cavalry army and siegepoints for quick conquering and sieges.
I haven't found out when "Sa'ad ibn-Abi-Waqqas" died, but in 651 he visted China on a diplomatic mission. So I think that would be the end of his by then 21-year fighting career, that old warhorse .
Also "Uqba bin Nafi al-Fihri"'s true startdate and deathdate are a little bit unclear. But I used the dates when he was conquering Northern Africa. He founded the city Kairouen in Tunisia in 670 and conquered Morocco by 683.
The other dates are historically correct as possible.

In order to play this scenario, do we need all the versions that are in the downloads section, or just the last one? Thanx

Please read the words in that thread :) The answer to your question is mentioned twice...

Hey Lofman here are some ERE leaders.
Although I've made some of emperors as leaders, they're average leaders. The Byzantine Empire was against the ropes during the 8th century. They were attacked on al sides. But they were resilient so that makes its necessary, I think, to have a bunch of average leaders in that period. Hope you like 'em, if you don't, feel free to edit.

Around the Heraclius period I've two generals but their dates are somewhat guesswork. They are only mentioned for succes against the Bulgars/Avars/Slavs and the Persians. Priscus becomes a monk in 611 en Phillippus is his able replacement.

And maybe something for a event?
#Belisarius was charged of Corruption in 562 and that ended his career. Because of his great military succes, he was perceived by the emperor as threat to his throne.
option A: the charges don't stick->Beli until 565 and -2 instability (for being a threat to the emperor)
option B: You corrupt traitor!->Bye Bye, Beli and +1 stability (the percieved threat is gone)#
