Saying 30 assets for each theme is so disingenuous. It is 10 assets for each theme, with 3 levels each. It’s like trying to say 12 new trees in this pack because you get the 3 life cycles of the 4 trees provided…

But what is new? You are also calling this “beach properties” but can’t provide the beach part.

Less time spent on the console is a good thing.

Fix the broken PC version first and then when it's stable and has full modding support they should move the focus to the console. Half assing it doesn't help anyone. I think console players deserve a functioning game when it happens because they shouldn't have to deal with what PC players did all over again.

The water is shallow and has sharks, the sand is filled with broken glass, and console players are whining that they want to jump in and swim

My biggest issue is the lack of communication not that I want the game right now. We are ignored. We ask questions that they don’t answer.

Personally I think that the Bridges and Ports DLC slated for later in the year should be offered free rather than for purchase -- at very least to original CS2 buyers -- as an apology for the ordeal caused by releasing the game months before it was ready.
As much as I appreciate the progress being made, it is slow; what was introduced in October 2023 should have been tagged as a Preview. Community trust will be hard to restore, and a good-faith acknowledgement (of some value) that errors were made will demonstrate that player loyalty matters.
But if they give out the Bridges and Ports DLC for free what are we that bought the ultimate edition going to get? We have payed much more.

1) I will wait that all simulation and optimization problems are solved before buying DLC.
2) I will wait 1 or 2 months after its release.
3) I will read a lot of feedback about it before buying

Then if 1, 2 and 3 are OK, I will say it's a good news ;)

This is good to see.

Is there any update on when we might be getting the creator region asset packs since Paradox Mods is going to be up and running?

Again with dodgy marketing tactics in the trailer..."30 buildings", huh? When it's actually just 10 per region...

The patch that comes with it better be huge...
It will be 60GB because it’s the entire game loading again :)

They still can’t figure out asset import, so that’s the only way to get these “beach assets” in the game :)

Excited for that one! :) Also looking forward for the full patch notes and seeing what the free update has in store for us! :) I think the first Version of Modding is also a very important Milestone for future development! :)

As Asset Pack, it's a little bit disappointing. Only 10 houses each Style, 6 Signature buildings and 4 palm trees.

I was hoping for some option to somehow decorate and create... beaches and waterfronts promenades. Decals of sand, props (beach clubs, umbrellas,...) other paths or pedestrian streets...

Because it's on the Ultimate version of the game, but even for a Content Creator Pack it's a very poor pack.

Maybe there's some things in the free update! :) Usually we got some content things within a free update... so let's see :)

Bridges and Ports DLC pushed for Q4.. wow, just.. no words can describe it..
It should be something on the base game, let alone a DLC, let alone one year later after release.. What is this? Using the same sale strategies as EA and Sims 4, since they have the monopoly on the genre? What an abuse..

So all we're getting (in concrete):
70 new assets (which 4 are trees and 10 are buildings from NA and EU and the respective levels) and one radio station

Weak, it comes too little too late. If you wanted real impact you should've stabilized the game' performance and gameplay mechanics first.
The dlcs are already late as they are coming now, might aswell fix the base game to atleast look like a beta.

This update won't make people buy the game, and won't bring back lost players by itself.. Practically, it won't bring any value. Sure, some might make one days worth of content with it, but thats it... one day... for 4 to 5 months worth of work?

Disgusting practices in not even showing an updated roadmap with other issues besides all the monetizable content.. the shame continues..

Week after week it becomes a saddening display of greed and weakness, although this update sounds positive, it falls short on what delivers..

Does anybody actually have an update related to the broken traffic mechanics and city stats, just to name a few game-breaking bugs? no? ok so just moving on with this mods editor announcement, gotcha.
While I agree with this sentiment. They needed to get something out by way of content. Just fixing issues at this point isn't enough to sway opinions. They sold an Ultimate bundle if they didnt address that then there would be no win. At least with content folks can get by while they work on issues like the ones you mentioned. Or the fact that placing Police HQs causes squad cars to stop patrolling.

Quite optimistic of you to think this. They are already trying to pad this DLC out by pretending 2 palm trees are 4 and 20 unique assets are 60.

I think if they had more to offer, they would be the first to highlight it, probably with inflated and disingenuous numbers as well
