D'ya reckon the converter could get a config that sets the terra incognita to the default eu4 discovered_by values as opposed to having everything from ck3 discovered by default?
It doesn't work that way. Discovered_by is done by tech groups + explicit tags, where CK3 conversions have a complete mess in both those regards. We attempt to match it as close as possible.
 
How about adding some advantage rule for converting development of Constantinople? Constantinople is a county having only one baron in CK3, so it is usually converted relatively low development compared to CK2-EU4 converting.
 
I'm interested in shattering my group's multiplayer game so that each player's realm gets shattered down to the borders of the kingdoms within it but at the starting de jure borders, rather than including everything that drifted in.
Is there an easier way to do this than manually setting the county ownership for all the drifted counties?
I've considered adding all kingdoms within each player realm to the "shatter" text file but then I'll need to manually adjust counties back up to the desired borders and also adjust country names and government ranks.

Manual editing is the way to go for such specific requests. Remember that shattering is designed for empires, not kingdoms so only list empires inside the file. It's also probably easier to convert the game, then use eu4's console to just flip the provinces to right owners, cleaning up the map while at it, than editing ck3's state.

I'd suggest you do a steam verify on that game but it's obviously not a steam installation. Try reinstalling it.

Not getting an error message, but the converted file isn't showing up as an installed mod so I can't add it to a playset.
You probably exported to wrong place. Upload log.txt.
 
I tried copy/pasting the produced file into both the mod folder and the steam workshop folder containing the other mods and it still didn't show up. I'm pretty stumped.

You had it point to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\236850/, but you should have My Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod
 
Hello guys, would it be possible to make More Bookmarks+ compatible with converter again in the future? It errors out at 10 % as I wrote some time ago :( i tried to talk to Mod dev but he said he doesnt know what u mean by malformed titles :(

There's nothing to be done on our side, it's entirely on the mod's side. If he came here to ask questions, I'm sure the leads for this converter would be happy to provide details. Though I'm also quite surprised any given validation tool isn't pointing things out.

More Bookmarks+ changes the makeup of the map. I think that makes the converter read it as malformed.
