Hey can someone convert my save for me? I play CK3 on gamepass so i can't do it myself so if you're willing to take the save and do it yourself i will really appreciate it!
For converter options: EU4 Start Date, Countries get permaclaims on de jure land, no HRE shattering, no empire shattering, no split large vassals into eu4 vassals, use ck3 dev, maintain stable dev spread, clear only small siberian states, dont summon the aztecs and keep institutions and ideas historic.
For the mod output name name it "Crown of Iberia"

Does the converted mod support the new 1.35 idea groups? I've been testing it since the update and can't seem to find them in my converted games.
Try without enabling dynamic institutions in the options. Those are obsolete atm and the ideas they carry alongside them.

Hello,

I was trying to use the CK3 to EU4 converter for the first time. I used to use the Steam CK2 to EU4 converter, but now I'm playing CK3. Anyways, I didn't work. I am sure I made a mistake somewhere. But I will post the log, and maybe someone can help with the solution.

Thanks in advance.

The converter can't write to disk. You probably unpacked or installed it somewhere it doesn't have permissions or an AV is blocking it. Try installing it into your users folder.

Kind of a small problem i have but last few times i converted a game the kingdom of vladimir was getting converted as muscovy rather than a custom kingdom, which i preferred since it makes it at least try to form russia. I've ran the converter now and i can't seem to make that happen again. Did anything change in that regard?

Not that I'm aware, but do check the mapping file. If vladimir is missing, add it and link to mos.

It does seem to be missing, maybe something got changed in the last update.

I made the following changes in the files in case you want to add it to the mod:

link = { capitals = { 572 } eu4 = YAR } (If capital is Yaroslavl then the russian kingdom is Yaroslavl)
link = { ck3 = k_opolye eu4 = MOS } (Vladimir link was completely missing, so i just added it as Muscovy for a simple conversion. Not sure if this might be overriden by the Yaroslavl capital link tho, as the de jure capital for Vladimir is Yaroslavl rather than Vladimir, at least in my game for some reason.)
link = { capitals = { 547 } eu4 = UKR } (Capital being Kiev makes it Ruthenia)
link = { capitals = { 1995 } eu4 = ADU } (Capital being Cordoba makes it andalusia, to avoid the conversion issues with the iberian empires)
link = { capitals = { 1906 } eu4 = CAS } (Same thing but for castille)

Also a few changes i made to improve conversion with historical invasions:

link = { ck3 = e_timurid eu4 = TIM } (It was previously mapped as e_timurids while in historical invasions the title is e_timurid)
link = { ck3 = e_rurikid eu4 = RUS } (Historical Invasions remaps the russian empire to e_rurikid, and i'd figured it'd make sense if they were called the russians rather than ruthenians if that massive empire is somehow still around by late Ck3. Feel free to add it as UKR if you disagree)
link = { ck3 = k_teutonic_order eu4 = TEU } (It was previously mapped as d_teutonic_order, but for historical invasions the title is actually a kingdom)
link = { ck3 = k_livonian_order eu4 = LIV } (Same problem)

Upload that entire file you altered and I'll merge it in.

Hello, my question is about the mod Extended Timeline for eu4. I convert successfully my save from ck3 to eu4, but when I want to run it with adding the mod Extended Timeline the game crash when I select my country on the beggining map (main screen at the begginning of the game, sorry for my english ;) ). If I disabled Extnede timeline mod on the Playset it works... Is there any solution to use my converted save with this mod? Thank you in advance and ty for your great job :)

Extended Timeline for EU4 is a Complete Overhaul mod, altering absolutely every aspect of EU4, and is incompatible with any of the converters. It's designed so you play a Grand Campaign in EU4 (from year 2 to 5000) without any other games. We don't support it and probably never will.

Weird little thing when converting this save, Permian Permia. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it's Berber for some reason.

Is there a way to specify subjects you want to be released as vassals in eu4? I know there's a global value for how decentralized countries become (how many countries are released as subjects), but is there anyway to specify tags not to be destroyed?

I could just release them on game start, but I'd like to keep the dynasties as in my game they've always owned that land and its sorta become an rp thing. Also releasing the tag would give them more provinces than what they actually own in CK3
