When are they going to update to 1.9?
But it's a bug. I didn't have titles of Ruthenia and Kiev, I have titles of Novgorod and Moscow and my capital was in Moscow. Why weren't I e_russia instead of UKR?Because e_russia in CK3 means "Kievan Rus". To map to RUS instead, edit configurables/tag_mappings.txt and edit this line:
link = { ck3 = e_russia eu4 = UKR }
Replace UKR with RUS and reconvert.
What exactly is a bug? Are you the emperor of e_russia or e_rurikids? If you are, you map to UKR. If you want to change this, edit the file I mentioned.But it's a bug. I created Russian Empire from the official game title of "Russia". How else could I create Russian Empire in the CK3?What exactly is a bug? Are you the emperor of e_russia or e_rurikids? If you are, you map to UKR. If you want to change this, edit the file I mentioned.
If you are *not* the emperor of e_russia, and you end up as UKR, then please upload conversion's log.txt and your ck3 save so I can reproduce.
Yes, and? You created the empire of Rus, which by default has a capital in Kyiv, and in CK3 has dejure borders matching the RL Kievan Rus.I created Russian Empire from the official game title of "Russia". How else could I create Russian Empire in the CK3?
If my character wasn't from a Rurikid dynasty it shouldn't mean that I can't create a Russian Tsardom in UE4. I played as Novgorod and created Russian Empire without Kiev.Yes, and? There is no "Russian Empire" in CK3 timeframe, that political entity arises later from Muscovy and has little to do with Kyiv.
If this doesn't suit you, change the mapping to whatever you want and reconvert.
Upload save and log.txt please.having this weird issue where the designated HRE title gets shattered and the provinces added to the empire but no countries are actually part of the empire so the game starts without it existing at all
Unsure why you're being disagreed with in this case. It doesn't make sense to have a Kievan Rus without Kiev, and there is the historical Russian empire which was established without Kiev by Ivan IV.If my character wasn't from a Rurikid dynasty it shouldn't mean that I can't create a Russian Tsardom in UE4. Please, change this checking in your code. It is uncomfortable decision for players, it's better to change it from checking "e_russia/e_rurikids" to checking the region of the capital than like now. Please, change it, make it comfortable for players.
He's being disagreed because he keeps ignoring the very clear instructions I gave for achieving the result he wants. As for what makes sense and what does not, that's entirely up to the player.Unsure why you're being disagreed with in this case. Sorry, I have no intention of supporting FE or any other major overhaul mod. Such support has traditionally fallen to the contributors who play the mods and are willing to maintain the converter compatibility. It essence - if you make a compatch for FE and are willing to maintain it, we can integrate it.Are there any plans to integrate the Fallen Eagle Mod? I would love to have a grand campaign that extends from 395 to 1945, and since currently there's no official Paradox game that belongs to the period, to be able to play the mod and use it to have consequences on later dates would be awesome! Of course, I can understand the big undertaking it could imply, but still, I'm curious as to the answer.
No, the converter does not access nor edit the countries out-of-scope of its map. If ck3 ever introduces china then we'll have free reign. Until then, manual editing I'm afraid.Is there a way to code the converter to replace the Ming with the Yuan, even though China isn't even an off-map power in CK3? Or would I have to manually edit all Chinese provinces in the output folder?
Ah, shame. But that's what I expected. Thank you.No, the converter does not access nor edit the countries out-of-scope of its map. If ck3 ever introduces china then we'll have free reign. Until then, manual editing I'm afraid.
We don't. But you can download both versions from our github.Im wondering why you guys change the converter form an zip to and exe when you downloaded it
We are phasing out zip for exe installers. You can still get the portable zips from github. Some links use zips, newer ones use exes, there's no mystery to it. If it says you're downloading a zip, you are.if you look at the 1st screenshot at the bottom left it not .zip like it was but an .exe and in the 2nd screenshot it clearly say it an .exe but then when I downloaded form this forum it downloaded and .zip the last two photo is the Kushite version (the last version I downloaded) of the converter that say it will be an .zip file.
