I just spent an hour tracking down the converter error. It's your friend.

His name breaks the converter. Since we actually do need nested quotes in localizations, I'm not changing anything, and he should change his name.
So just to better understand this and fix it. Is it the character that is the issue? Or the Player's name? And how would one go about fixing this?

Player's name. He'd change it the same way he set it, I assume.

Converted a ck3 save game and I made a big Muslim nation the hre, but when converted there's no emperors or electors. I made "e_spain" the hre and it still shatters but there are no hre mechanics besides there being 188 princes. It also says "no religion" is the dominant faith and only they can be emperor even with religious peace. The imperial map also shows only claims and nothing else. Idk what the promblem could be the only overhaul mod I used was rice.

Upload the save and a correct log.txt (the one you uploaded was empty, restart conversion to generate one) and I'll take a look.

1. Update the converter, I've pushed a fix for some of other issues with your save.
2. We can't shatter an empire into HRE if the holder has additional empire titles due to hierarchy issues. Load the game in debug mode (in the launcher options) and use the console to add yourself enough prestige to destroy titles of e_arabia and e_aq_qoyunlu. Then resave and reconvert.

Your ironman save is corrupted, so rakaly can't melt it and thus we can't parse it. This can happen if you run out of disk space, or something else prevents the game from saving it completely.

Anyway, see if you have some older save or autosave or something. Nothing we can do about this one.

Converted a big Baltic nation from unmodded ck3 all dlc, been playing this save for awhile, but now every time at 1604 January 5th the game crashes immediately without fail. I'd really like to continue this save any help would be appreciated.

I'm also currently using the Eu4 mods:

Catus cheats
Change of government
Government caucas bell
Governments expanded
infinite governmant capactiy
infinite custom nation points
Peace treaties expanded
rebalence_parlimant_mod
Subjects Expanded
Wealth of Nation

Unless they are startup crashes, the conversion mods are not a cause of any CTDs as they do not (significantly) alter any game mechanics or have problematic events, triggers, etc.
Debugging a mid-game crash is also next to impossible as the logs never describe what the error is.
Long story short, some combination of the mods you use is simply incompatible with the conversion. Try disabling some of them and see if that helps, but we really can't debug your issue.

I'd like to modify some of my imported CK3 custom cultures by hand, e.g. to give them a primary nation or to change their culture group, but the !ZZ-dynamic-cultures.txt just lists them as "dynamic-mongol-tuvan-culture-num1" or "dynamic-tibetan-culture-num4" and that's difficult for me to parse. What I'd like is a localisation file or something that takes those names and gives me the culture names that display when I view them in game in either CK3 or EU4 ("e.g. "Mongo-Tuvan" or whatever), but I haven't been able to find it. Where does the converter save that file? It'll be easier for me to search the EU4 mod files than the CK3 ones as my CK3 game is an ironman one. Thank you!

localisation\replace\converter_l_english.yml of the eu4 mod. You won't find them in ck3 folder as they are generated from the save itself.

Thanks!

Hi Zemurin, could I check if there are any recommended EU4 mods that improve the experience if I plan to take this into Vic3. Stuff that helps reduce blobbing and creates a more diverse world for the 19th century?

Hey guys I am trying to convert my ck3 save to eu4 but it keeps popping up with this strange error
" Landed title b_san_marino has province holding 9676 which has no definition!"
Thank you so much for your help!
