We need to see the code before we can 100% say. For right now, I am looking into allowing the dynamic cultures to be transferred over as new cultures in EU4 based on their parent cultures. Exactly what this will look like is TBD. What to do with VIC2 is still up in the air, as that game does not do well with dozens of tiny cultures, so some kind of culture-group conversion may need to be created.
Well, currently culture tends to blob a lot on CK3 and the converter splits it up into several different cultures for EU4. Anglo-Saxon becomes Essexian, Northumbrian etc. Russian becomes Muscovite and etc. At least in my games that's what happened. Cultures that are too small tend to dissapear in EU4 as empires grow bigger and cultures that are too small to be accepted get converted. If the end goal is to avoid having too many cultures it sounds like the DLC might help on that?

Never encountered that before. Save corruption should be extremely rare, more related to hardware faults than game itself. I'd check if the mod was active - can you start a new game from the same mod, and if you can, once you do, can you load the save?
Also check the save itself with a text editor (it may be zipped so unpack it first) - does it have a sensible start and end.
I fiddled around with the files and it somehow worked fine again from where I’d left it. Thanks.

Make sure you added it to a new playset and that you enabled the playset on the main page of the launcher. Common issue with the launcher - people don't realize wrong playset is enabled.

Yeah I did that and tried to make new playsets and mods but it didn't seem to work.
Maybe you exported it to a wrong path. Upload the other log.txt, one in folder above the one you uploaded here earlier. Mod should go to your c:\users\<user>\pdx\eu4\mod\ folder.

I don't know if this is a bug but it seems Scotland is atheist?

I did everything but i can't upload it into the mod directory
What is everything?
What is it?
What is the mod directory?

If you need help then you need to provide some actual information. We're not mind readers.

Hello, I am just starting my first ck3 to eu4 game. Was playing until the year 939 and decided to convert the save just in case there was an error (didnt want to play all the way to 1444 only to find the save wont convert). The save was converting just fine until I got this error message "Character 33610378 has employer 0 which has no definition!" Any clue what is the problem?

Problem is exactly that, a character (likely potential EU4 advisor) has a broken employer in the save. Not an issue, upload that exact save and I'll make a workaround for this.

Just want to ask a couple of questions:

1. I have been using a couple of mods (More buildings mod, infinite building slots mod). Would they cause errors or would they cause provinces to have unbelievable amount of development

2. As I said before, this save is actually just a test. I would like to know if there is way around this issue ,just in case when I finally play until 1444 and this thing pops up again so that I wont trouble you again?

1. Mods you use that are adding religions and cultures are not compatible with the converter. You need to restart the game without them.
2. The converter is now updated so this particular error will be ignored. You can redownload it or let it auto-update.

Hi all, I could use a little help navigating some tag tomfoolery. The conversion itself works great, but I'm playing a run as a Muwalladi Hispania. I guess since I created the Empire of Hispania in CK3 it's recognizing that as SPA - Spain in the EU4 conversion, instead of ADU - Andalusia like I'd hoped, or another Iberian Muslim tag. Obviously that's not quite right, given that the first national idea unlock is "Devout Catholics" lol. How might I go about resolving this issue? Should I just mess about in some of the text files of the game or conversion file? Thanks in advance!

Change the mapping link in configurables\tag_mappings.txt.
