CK3 to EU4 Converter Release Thread

Reader mode
Good Day, Ladies and Gentlemen.
This is my First time using this Converter and i followed a Video on how to do it.
Yet, when i start EU4, neither is the Map changed nor do i have the option to click a Start Date, apart from the Vanilla Game Start Dates.
I humbly ask for help, please.

You either didn't add the mod to a playset or you haven't enabled said playset.

This is recurring on the version, and happens every time, I have all the dlcs, and have followed the instructions for the mod to a T.

I used the Crusader Universalis start and reconverted as well, with this happening, else I just sat around in spectate and watched.

The log and errors also didn't genorate anything...

Thanx for the report. Noreligion is a bug, we're looking into locating the script issue and fixing it. Some countries going reformed pagan is not really a bug but a flavor event which we'll make fire at a much decreased frequency as it's too intrusive atm.
 
Ah alright, got any idea how to "fix" the no religion bug? Is it possible to flip the nation back to catholic, so that the game doesn't break.

Either update the converter and reconvert, now that this is fixed, or you can unpack and edit your save and search/replace noreligion with animism. I suggest the former because the frequency of revived paganism was way too high.

Why is HanNumba1.mod inside the conversion mod folder? Please show screenshot of the entire mod folder, not the conversion mod. the .mod file belonging to it should be in C:\Users\<youruser>\docinets\pdx\eu4\mod along with its folder.

To be honest, it was told to me to do so within the Tutorial Video I mentioned earlier. Please forgive the Language in the Picture, it was late night and i was tired

Ok, I am not entirely sure what I was doing wrong this whole time. But.
I have just reconverted it, added the Save Game Mod to a Playset and it Works.
The Video I mentioned, said, I would have to put it into a File and create a Mod on the Launcher for it to Work, which was obviously false.

Hey guys,

I am trying to start my mega-campaign, but I am having an issue with the converter. Conversion doesn’t even start and I immediately recieve message "could not open configuration.txt"

I am using the latest version of the converter (0.9), version of the CK3 is 1.4.4. and version of the EU4 is 1.32.2.0.

Could you help me with that? I am really excited to try mega-campaign, but this kind of sucks. :)

Run the frontend one folder above that creates said configuration.txt.

ConverterFrontend.exe, once ran, will generate the configuration.txt for the actual converter, unless stopped in doing so by an overzealous antivirus preventing it from writing to disk. See if that's the case and whitelist it if so.

Thanks, it was exactly the case. So I started the conversion and for a change, this problem occured:

Hey, just finished trying to convert my game and am running into an almost immediate error. The log.txt file is not really showing anything helpful, but I thought I would post it anyways. I've tried a couple different save files, ironman and non-ironman, and they all fail pretty quickly. No mods used in any saves. Any help would be appreciated!

Run VC_redist.x64.exe in the converter directory.
