zonkie means a way to then go the next level down, to see the vassals of vassals, i.e. the vassals of immediate vassals. It's slightly annoying in large realms in vanilla, but given that the vast lands of Westeros is almost enitrely under the vassalage of one of the Lord Paramounts, the direct vassal view is of limited used outside of a Mega War.

In vanilla thats available by diplomatic relations map.
You click on the Duke and its own lands will display in light green, while his vassals will be dark green. Still far from good though. Sorry, i can't speak for AGOT, haven't played much with it (simply as i'm not much into fantasy).

I'm pretty sure this has been asked before but I don't know if I ever found an answer, but does Arya, Brandon or Rickon reappear at all during the game if you play as a non-Stark? Currently playing as the grandson of King Roose of the Iron Throne and all the Starks are long dead or lost, but the three youngest haven't made any reppearances yet.

Well for one its a game-limitation. Its basicly due to vanilla

That was my original question. Whether it was a vanilla feature or something that I could change.

The sad thing is, your King, or Queen, is somewhat impotent in these matters, its not that you theoretically couldnt, but that you shouldnt, so the limitation makes somewhat sense even if that isnt the intent. If you were capable of dealing with the matter however, then you would be expected to deal with all those matters, not just your family, unless you play favourites which as said isnt a good thing.

I get that, but my Targ king got the lunatic coin flip, in addition to a .35 tyrant and family person. And he had a dragon. With those traits, I would have like to to be able to have him raze Ashemark. Regardless I just imprisoned the claimant and fed him to my dragon.

Can a modder limited the retinues?

for example

Lord 500 heavy cavalry
High Lord 1000 heavy cavalry
Lord Paramount 1500 heavy cavalry
King 2000 heavy cavalry

The retinues is a great feature but in vanilla too overpowered.

Hey lads, I'm sorry for being such a pain but my last past apparently got lost in the crowd.

Question was, if I downloaded a mod from the internet but bought the game on Steam, should I delete the mod and get it from Steam afterwards? Or can I just download the one on the front page of this thread straightaway?
After that, how exactly do I put it to use without making mistakes?

Not replying to any specific post, so no quote's, I did do that in the last one though.

Steam has nothing to do with what mods to download. Simply follow the instructions and put mod files in ' C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod '.

As for my own question; I recently made a 'shattered world' mod. Now that it is almost done I am researching whether to make it compatible with other mods. So basically what I want to know is whether anybody knows whether this mod is compatible with the titular generator? Since then it wouldn't be that much work to make my mod compatible with Game of Thrones.
I am not really a game of thrones fanatic, but it seems pretty fun to make a shattered world scenario of the map.

I think there is a shattered world equivalent being made on the dedicated mod forums.

I see I missed the link in the second post, thanks for the notification :)

So what are these mirrors about?

Been playing some more of this in the past few days as Kings on the Iron Throne. Two things have been popping up that kinda bug me. One is that the Kingsguard seems to join in every revolt against the crown. It's becoming a rare sight to find a LC that does not end his term without getting executed or sent to the wall by me for his treason. Second, and far more serious, is I am encountering a bug where I am inheriting Tyranny from the previous ruler. I did manage to get rid of it via editing the save file, but that's still a pretty serious bug. :(

It'd be awesome if you had the chance to built at least one castle beyond the wall if you're playing as a wildling king, although I know logistically it's just not possible, probably.

That said, claiming Castle Black is always insanely satisfying in itself.

Did you install it in your My Documents folder rather than Program Files? Correct install location is C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod (for Windows 7 at least, I can't speak for other OS's)

You can use the mirrors to paste everything styraight to the mod folders, but the installer should be easier. It's an OR thing, not an AND.

You actually need to run the installer, it doesn't install itself.
