Maybe I should post in bugs too, but too lazy :(
Also - suspicious? Really? What's so suspicious in PREY...?

Apparently all the 'Suspicious' attitude is, is the old Unfriendly renamed.
Yup...and that's...lame? I came back to Stellaris after more than a year break, curious of new flavors of origins, federations and stuff...and I am 'almost' back where I were - even more so to be honest - releasing vassal makes them having 'Life Seeded' origin, getting machine intelligence into your trade league allows you to colonize with their robots, federated AI start with two criminal syndicates, archaeology inconsistencies all over the place, senate approving just about everything...
And hyperlanes, oh how I fu....ok, wont even start that

And to put more clarity - my original screenshot is not about this 'suspicious' thing (which is flavorless, but oh well)...it's about Devouring Swarm with Tree of Life civic

I aggree.
Except for the hyperlanes, but I won't start either.

There are some very weird bugs. But overall, it's playable compared to the absolute disaster that was 2.2. The economic AI is, for the first time since said update, not completely braindead. Which is a pleasant surprise, although the fleet AI seems to be even stupider than it used to be.

Why is a devouring swarm with a Tree of Life Origin (not a civic) a problem ? I mean why wouldn't they be able to have a symbiotic relationship with something despite wanting to kill everything else ? There are plenty of predators with symbiotic relationships with other life forms that they tolerate or even help around, but have no qualms about murdering and eating everything else.

Because it's prohibited by game rules ;)

UPD: You CANNOT create such empire...while AI randomization don't give a F

I met a Criminal Syndicat that claims, they are peaceful Traders.

Yeah, and Jabba the Hutt is actually a nice guy.....

"Hey, that's a nice house, be a shame if something happened to it," they say while trying to legitimately sell you insurance.

My latest contingency run:
how could i miss that world before revealing?

What does the contingency fleets do? Never heard About defending?

yeah - easiest Crisis Fighting i ever had - Nothing besides the starbases defending.

Even the AI can do it - Nothing to do for me.

Yeah, the new Military AI is generally very passive... except in the case of fleets that are scripted to just defend such as the Horde Garrisons that the Great Khan spawns over a Satrapy's homeworld. Apparently they're treated as just any old fleet to move around.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Unbidden's defense fleet roamed around too, but with their anchors giving the portal invincibility, they can at least afford to do so.

Once upon a time buterfly-like species Delkrar evolved on a planet Dekronia. They rose from their planet, created a small empire, fought some wars, lost and got bombed into a ruins. Now remains of their caretaker robots connected together into Kelbrid Caretakers and are truing to rise back from their relic world (Rogue servitor with Remnant start).

Unfortunately game got a bit confused about who is robotic and who is organic

Oh yeah, I think that's been a bug since 2.2.

Trying out the most recent versions of Stellaris, I created a bunch of human empires with different origins to simulate a massive human empire which crumbled to pieces.
I'd not given much thought as to why, but that changed quite a bit when I encountered a nearby empire.

Based in Sol, and presumably spawned by a lost colony, I guess the empire shattered because the the population of Earth turned into a cannibalistic hive mind!
They even had a ruined science nexus a system or two away from Sol, which I guess was ground zero for whatever happened.
