That's the folder eu4 uses to store documents. You're probably making a collision.
Install it elsewhere and see if it works. Also confirm you actually have map/area.txt inside.

i reinstalled it and still dont work, the same error occurs. how can i confirm if i have the map/area.txt inside?

There is a bug with the launcher where it loads wrong playlist if you have more than one. There are plently of bugs with the laucher actually, but this stinks of one of them. Can you upload error.log after you get that empty world? It's in logs folder of eu4's documents directory. BTW, as you can see from my screenshot,t here is nothing wrong with the mod or the save. Maybe your eu4 could use a reinstall, hard to tell.

Yeah, I figured it must be something going on with EU4 and not the mod itself since it worked for you. I've attached the error log. I tried reinstalling EU4 and I'm still having the same issue. Maybe I need to purge all of my other mods and see if that works?

Show me a screenshot of your eu4 install directory and what's inside. You can just enter the directory in file explorer and see if there's a map folder with area.txt file inside.

Those frloc errors and the rest are mostly vanilla eu4 issues. I see nothing here that would affect the installation. Hmm. Can you show me your main meu from eu4 so I can see this error? Also, could you try selecting the other bookmark in configuration options, maybe that's the issue.

there is no area.txt inside it, this is the reinstalled game

Can I transfer a file that's copyrighted by Paradox and licensed to me when I bought the game? Sorry, no, I cannot.

I'm a fucking idiot. I didn't notice that Random/Custom Nation setup was enabled for some reason so that's why the map was blank. It works fine. Sorry about the confusion and thanks for your help.

You've either loaded some incompatible mod alongside conversion, or it's an EU4 issue.

Add the converter to your antivirus whitelist. Also, I'd appreciate you telling us which AV are you using.
