I was almost finishing my converted game (as North Sea Empire in Europe) when I realized that Manchu had not turned to Qing after a couple decades of being Emperor of China and owning all of the North of China.

So I tag-switched over and found that the decision to form Qing is highlighted (all requirements are met) and clickable, but when I click it nothing happens.
Other formables such as Scandinavia and Spain work, but somehow this doesn't...

Without the converted mod enabled (i.e. base game), Qing can be formed.
Like, what should I do?

I converted another CK3 save, and again the "Form Qing" decision doesn't work.
Unsure. Upload your save and the mod you're running it with. Zip the mod's .mod file + its directory together, and I'll take a peek.

Here it is. The other mods I used are UI and font files, as well as an auto-development mod. These mods are not what caused this.
Thanx for catching this bug. We've pushed an updated version of the converter. Grab it and unpack it (delete the old one).

In your current mod go to decisions and localisation folders. After that go inside converter, find blankMod/output folder. From there grab decisions and localisations and copy diferent files to your mod, and then retry the decision please. Don't overwrite whole folder as you would lose existing names.

Yknow what might be the cause?

If EU4's localization reader reads the mod's loc files and then dies on first instance of cyrillic elsewhere, it may not load that file at all. You'd have to scan all the files and remove all instances of cyrillic letters, first in that file if there's more, and then if that doesn't work, elsewhere.

To confirm this go to your eu4 documents/logs/error.log and see what's inside, look for localization errors.

This is why I say we *really* don't support russian CK3.

apologies in advance, as I am assuming the answer may already be in this thread, but nonetheless, here it is.

This is my first transfer of a save between ck3 and eu4. In CK3 I, for the heck of it, created a custom religion, which was ported to the EU4 game. Which is all fine and dandy. But when the reformation event was triggered and I looked to see if I could join in the fun, it said that my relgion was not allowed to convert. So I meddled with some debug console commands, but it did nothing for me. Even triggering the event via the console into my nation did not help.

The wiki does not say anything about limitations for custom created religions in CK3. Mind you, the one I created still followed Christianity as its basis.

No, custom religions are standalone in EU4. Feel free to edit its file and copy over relevant line from christianity (the block allowing conversion), but this is not something converter can anticipate - seeing how any custom religion can be totally different.

Howdy, messed with this for a few hours, however I can't seem to figure out what's causing this not to load in eu4. I have attached the ck3 save file and the log file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and please let me know if you need anything else from me.

Nothing wrong with the log. Did you add the mod to an active playlist?

I did, it looks right as far as I can tell.

Check in launchers main menu if that playset is enabled. Otherwise, this is launcher bug.

Is it just for me or is inheritance completely bugged in this? Not a single nation kept it's heir from the previous game. I've read that it had problems, but i didn't expect it to be this bad. There should a least be an option for all nations to start off heirless if that were to be the case. Now French Kings have Byzantine names, Spain is ruled by a Norse family, etc.

If you upload your log.txt and save, I can take a look at what's going on.

Run the vs redist file in the converter directory.
